This is what got submitted. Several changes would have been made had I been able to spend the last ten hours tweaking rough areas rather than struggling to get this inferior product to render.
The background music cuts out at the end leaving the viewer in uncomfortable silence that should have been the old style music playing out.
Some of the background music elements worked better than others and would have been extended to replace the less desirable ones.
The dialogue of the old man after he steps out into the hall would have either been removed or altered to not reveal what was about to happen.
Several of the old man's randomly generated body movements would have been eliminated or changed to fit the scene.
The sphere at the top of the transmitter tower would have had textures alternated between bright red and dark dull red to simulate blinking.
These would have been simple fixes to implement but I was unable to get a fully playable initial copy even up to the very end.
I managed to get one done the morning after the deadline by disabling all startup programs but after rendering this copy with the 48hrfp title screen I'm doubtful that had anything to do with it since I followed the same steps to prep my computer for this render and again lost the final few seconds of background music.
