Here's a little movie summary of what I did for the final group project. It shows off the scenes and the various characters that were created for the story. Below, I've included the script, based on the time of the song, that will hopefully be shown in animation by the rest of my group.
Scene 1: A guy and his drummer in their little apartment, playing their instruments. The band.
0:00 - 0:08 Guy playing guitar
0:08 - 0:19 Show the drummer, who has also begun playing.
Scene 2: The open field. A girl runs away from the city, the sky is clean and clear. She heads towards the loan tree to play her saxophone
0:19 - 0:29 - Her running to get the sax
0:29 - 0:39 - She picks it up and studies it, holding it
0:39 - 0:58 - She begins to play, looking at the sky above
Scene 1: Back to the band
0:58 - 1:08 - The band playing
Scene 3: Her and her boyfriend in their apartment. It's a mess, and they have clearly been fighting.
1:08 - 1:18 - He's yelling at her, and she's crying
1:18 - 1:27 - She runs out of the room as he threatens to attack and beat her.
Scene 2: Her in the field again
1:27 - 1:47 - The sky is a little darker, and she's dancing as she plays
Scene 3: The apartment, empty.
1:47 - 1:57 - Pan around the empty room
1:57 - 2:06 - Focus on the letter, which reads "If you won't stop the drugs, I won't marry you". A gold ring is next to the letter.
Scene 2: Her in the field, it's begun to rain.
2:06 - 2:25 - She's still dancing and playing, looking up as the rain comes falling down.
Scene 1: The band, one more time.
2:25 - 2:35 - Another shot of the band playing in the apartment
Scene 4: A bar, boyfriend at the counter, sitting there drinking.
2:35 - 2:45 - He's sitting alone, drinking, mumbling, som,ebody approaches from behind.
2:45 - 2:55 - He stands up and punches the stranger. A bar fight breaks out.
Scene 2: the field and the girl
2:55 - 3:14 - The rain is pouring still, it's darker now, and there's smoke in the background. The city is on fire. She is still just playing
3:14 - END - She stops playing, holding the saxophone in front of her, breathing heavily as she falls to her knees and cries.
