Are there any fight/wrestling moves being planned (for the "puppets", of course) for the first release?
Would a brawling/boxing/wrestling pack be a possibility?
I'm into spaceship futuristic-type stories. Do you think a spaceships pack where we can manipulate spaceships, and maybe have them fire on each other be possible (or planned)?
I also like Cowboy movies... and want horses and horse-riding... and falling off horses and buildings.
(I'm not demanding... just starting a conversation!)

Some WATER related activities would be nice, too. You know, boats, ships, submarines, actors swimming. 'The Movies' pretty much lacked anything in that area.
And while we're at it, some SPORTS actions would be cool... always wanted to do some golf swings (not sure why, but not having it means I can never find out!)
Naturally, like everone else, I've got a boatload (pun intended) of ideas, suggestions and wishlists... but I'll first find out if they alreay exist before asking (or at least try and find them - like animated props, and animal actors, etc).
[Edit: This should probably go in 'Suggestions', shouldn't it? Sorry!]

Fights are in the works. We haven't got sports coming up any time soon, and don't expect water any time soon either.
Spaceships are always a good source of controversy - the problem is what to make them look like. Do we want Star Wars type ships, or Star Trek (and of course there are many different flavours of ST ships, different time periods, different races), or do we want something more like the "Golden Age" ships the Movies used? Or do we go more Red Dwarf-y, or something like a space shuttle, or the ISS, or what? My idea of a "proper" spaceship is a White Star from Babylon 5.....

Can we be greedy? ALL OF THE ABOVE! 'The Movies' has some great ships, but only 3 or 4 varieties. And that just isn't enough, to be honest.
Naturally, we (the users) could import our own, I would expect (into MS). But for those of us that have limited 3D modelling skills, that's a big task to create something that looks GOOD.
So, the more the merrier...! (Please)

White Star would be cool!
(It's been a long time since I've seen Babylon 5... I liked it but did not watch a lot of it after the first couple seasons.)
I think the White Star would be great... I don't remember exactly how B5 handled flight- another little controversy with the space ships (especially in Star Wars and Star Trek) is the air foil type flight in space (not that I'm any expert!)... it'd be cool to have ships moving/maneuvering more like on a sheet of ice... popping thrusters from side to side (or top/bottom).
I think we'd want shuttles! And (I would want) Asimov-type (human-shaped) robots.
(I agree, Biggs, this could fit in "suggestions", but I wanted a little free-er reign!)

B5 ships handled like real spaceships should - i.e. not like aircraft. One of their favourite tricks was turning round in mid-flight so they're flying backwards, or even sideways.
OTOH, they weren't above taking a few liberties. When asked how fast a White Star could travel, JMS replied, "at the speed of the plot!"
Seasons 1-4 of B5 were great - Season 5 should never have been made.

"Speed of the plot"... lol... love it! I thought B5 handled the space manuvering more "correctly", but I couldn't say for sure. I might just have to get seasons 1-4 on DVD now you got me thinking about it!
(You reminded me, too, the little trick on the old Battlestar Galactica series where the fighters would blast on the brakes to let the Cylons fly by and shoot them from behind.)

I'm pretty sure that when the program is released, the forum will be inundated with request polls and threads.
Just look at the boards on TM. There are some that appear weekly even though everyone knows that Lionhead will not release anything else. I realize that those threads can be useful for modders but the fansites are supposed to be for that.
I think that we'll see a lot of cool stuff in much greater quantity, quality and much faster with MS. Since the mod tools are included directly with the program, things will move fast.

Keep the suggestions coming, though. We're planning a LOT of add-on packs, and we want to make sure we're giving you what you want. We have the first few planned out and in production, and we know what's next up on the slate, but we haven't finalised what's coming after that. We have a HUGE wishlist of things we'd like to see as add-on packs, and we'd like to build them all, but we have to prioritise them at some point. So any input from you guys for what you want would be great.
(And no, I'm not going to spoil the surprise and tell you what we're releasing first. You'll have to wait just a little bit longer......)

I'm hoping for a lot of cool stuff!
One of the things I like about MStorm is that they have planned a niche for themselves for future needs of customers... I like the idea of regularly-released expansion packs, and just the general encouragement of "don't forget, you can mod it yourself" (though I'm a beginner).
I'm thinking too, that the movies by each user of MStorm will have more uniqueness to it... not so much cookie-cutter, than other programs that other folks are using. It all will be interesting to see.

you guys are gonna take every that was ever wanted on TM and make it real. You guys need to get a interview on The Movies On Air so tm users will check you out. believe me everyone over at TM will come and beta test this for you and we know what we have wanted and seems like you guys are giving it to us. I'm gonna talk to the 2 main guys over at TMOA and see if they are interested in at least talking about it maybe a announcement that movie-storm is looking for ideas or something.

Campground in a forest setting (Lodge, Some Cabins, Campfire Area, Mess hall, trails through the woods).
Lake Retreat (Lake with an island or two in it, Boat(s), Canoe(s), Dock, Paddles, Life Preservers).
Cave (Preferably with customizable Stalagmites and Stalactites, Underground pool/lake, handrailed ramps, rusty ladders up/down, lights that can be turned on and off).
College Campus (Admin Building, Classroom Buildings, Dorms, Library, Student Center, Sports Facility with Stadium, Labs) - With some customization available, this could also double as a high school. Would need to add playground equipment to let it be used as an elementary.

Hi Crule,
"Toriel" (sorry if I butchered your name!), has appeared on TMOA http://www.moviestorm.co.uk/forum/posts/list/155.page ... that's indirectly the reason I found my way here- someone told me they heard it there.
It might be smart for one of the staff to make an entrance at TMOA to talk to the guys there to tell folks about what is going on here.
One of the guys I've PM'd a few times with has a TM fan site, and has expressed in one of our conversations that he wouldn't mind if his fansite were more of a meeting place of machinima in general, and might likely (in my opinion) be happy to put out a word. (If the staff here wants me to talk to him about aksing for beta testers and see his reaction, just ask me. ed... or I can provide you with his website.)
