What movie is it that has the catch phrase, "I'd buy THAT for a dollar!"

ROBOCOP

You're right... at first I was thinking of one of the "Smokey And The Bandit" movies... but you're right.

I think I'm with EwanG about onesies and twosies from various sources (not that I NEVER would... I've briefly visited Renderosity and it looked interesting). I like the idea of buying a solid pack where everything is intended to match and work together- it's a little more "fun" getting a few things at a time, along a theme. (I like the idea of being able to mod things to my needs.)

Are you talking about bone-crunching, ass kicking martial arts fights...or is that something I have to create in MAX?

being able to change body types (chubby/skinny/veloptuous) would be high on my list, I think... and I think you might want to be able to have pregnant women.

Its would be great to have all these add on packs like Space craft and fighting action etc but I think the important aspect of movie storm will be the ability to script subtle movements and facial expressions.
In any machinima that uses game software, the actors always appear to be overacting. Any of us who have used the Movies game and the Sims will know the frustration of setting up a scene and having it spoiled by a ludicrious facial expression or gesture.

Musical instruments, with some way to synchronise ( and customise) these.

I would personally pay for a pack of supernatural entities...

Werewolves, Vampires.... Fish Head Dude....
Heck, you could even go into having cultists with runes all over their bodies and go big with having Cthulhu in there!
Thats right, I want Cthulhu....
MORTALS WILL BOW BEFORE HIM!

And so we rise again...

Hey David, since you seem to be a fellow cultist, you might want to have a look at my TM movie The Innsmouth Horror.

I intend to remake it in MS and would appreciate feedback. You can find it here: http://movies.lionhead.com/movie/107976

I wonder if the moviestorm team had any ideas for expansion packs that nobody has mentioned yet?
Speaking for myself I think I'm still somewhat stuck in sims movie making mode and wanting to solve the problems I had (lip synching, limited cameras etc)
You guys have been working on this so much longer... have you had any totally wild ideas that turned out to be impractical, or themes that you discarded because you thought nobody else could possibly be interested?

apparently if more than two cultists get together on a forum the earth and all that is on it is doomed. So I heard.

Nice movie, let us know how that remake gets on. I recently had some very tasty pre-vis movies from an abandoned Cthulhu mythos PS2 game to view and it reminded me of how awesome the visual style is. Sadly, the art team artists just glared at me when I asked for transparent glistening waving biological tentacles as props

So you're telling me they won't help us take over the world?

Oh well, I guess we'll have to sacrifice them and try to find a workaround
