Hey there, just found this site and the whole idea sounds amazing, what with the (relative) freedom and creativity it will make possible.
Im 18 and recently finished college, ive made a couple of things as can be seen here:

Currently im working on a few scripts and ideas, just looking to make a couple more shorts.

I selected machinima, as I use 'The Movies' like many others here... BUT, I just realized that years and years ago, I made animations using the family Super-8 home movie camera (you know, BEFORE video!).

Ah yes, that brings back memories! I animated a model car driving across my desk... a Tie Fighter (cardboard cut-out!) flying by against a black backdrop (my mum's dress, I think!)... some metal pieces of a small desk toy spinning about on my desk to form the words "FAKE IT"... and (with my brother) a carpet bowls ball doing the impossible to win me the match!

OK... showing my age now. On with the show!

"The Movies" would be considered "machinima", right? :p

I have an example here:

Maybe the connection works?

Like many others here, I use "The Movies" as well. You might know me as STXFilms, but probably not :p

I sure have!

I mainly use The Sims 2, but I have made two movies with The Movies, but they were just tests.

Wow Rik is here! Awesome! Wish I knew about MovieStorm sooner! I too made movies with The Movies and look forward to working with a more serious product.

When I was a teenager living in Southern California I made Super-8 movies and had premiers in my garage. I used to invite Elizabeth Taylor and Richard Burton to my grand garage premiers. They never came but they did send lovely notes of encouragement.
I now make movies with The Movies. Some of my tiltes are "The Past Is Tomorrow", "Diamonds For Breakfast", "Pax Romana", and "Cleopatra" part one.
You can see "Pax" and "Cleopatra" on The Movies Online.

Like others here, I've made lots with The Movies; I must say that reading the aims and objectives of Moviestorm, it's a mouthwatering prospect - bring it on.
