This is the place to talk about projects and ideas we are gonna be possibly doing in Moviestorm, right? So here I go....

Lefty Films presents: Elm Way

What is Elm Way?
I will answer your question with another question.
What if Six Feet Under, The X-Files, and Northern Exposure had a threesome which resulted in an offspring which watched way too much Twin Peaks?

Elm Way tells the story of eight very different people living in a town hidden away in the Hollywood hills. Nobody seems to know its exact location, as Elm Way is a cheap place to live for a reason: it's a doorway to other planes of existence.

Throughout the year, these housemates will learn the towns dirty little secret that keeps them all together, but that is nothing compared to having to live with one another.

Set up like a actual TV show season, we actually have 13 full length 30 minute episodes planned (9 of the said 13 are currently totally written and 6 of them are fully voiced already.. yes, we came into this prepared.).
We actually started this whole "project" almost 2 years ago and we are hoping for it now to actually see the light of day though Moviestorm.

In truth this series was planned for The Movies, but when the game just wouldn't want to work with our "Vision" we dumped it and vowed we would return, stronger, smarter, and with no unsightly side effects except for the desire to kill all the humans...
<.<
>.>

So now we are here, planning to use Moviestorm for this little baby of ours and hopfully it works out.

Here is the old site for Elm Way
If you do look I would ask that you please stay away from the episode videos due to them not turning out what we wanted them to be (And having to cut whole scenes from episodes even though they were important as hell but the engine just wouldn't work for it.) and thus won't be insanely confused by it all.

First impressions anyone?

And so we rise again...

We're going to redo episodes 1-4 in MS. As well as the site.

I haven't looked at the videos or site yet, but the premise seems interesting.

Need any help at all?

... "...but that is nothing compared the hazzards of everyday life!" I think you have the makings of a good premise and a little friction along the way! I'd watch that!

Yeah, baby, yeah! This is the kind of ambitious project that we really want to see Moviestorm being used for. Can't wait!

I think you guys are going to find this to be (become) the perfect tool to do what you'd wanted to do with Elm Way from the beginning, guys. And, you'll own the films when you're done. Woo!

Welcome! Don't I know you from somewhere?

I'd like to think we are making the type of show that we would want to watch ourselves and since you all are geeks like us, it makes sense that you would want to watch em too!
Plus, it was either this or get FOX to do it and have it cancelled after its third episode.... which is really its 9th episode cause they don't know the meaning of showing episodes in order... (Unless its 24 that is.... damn you Bauer!!! DAMN YOU TO HELL!!)

And hopfully its not too over ambitious that we collapse underneath its awesomeness!

Who the heck invited you to the party again?
I guess you can stay since you are already here but don't eat all the food like last time!

With all the lines numbered and done already for 1 though 5? Bryy, do you LIKE making me cry?

Don't encourage him.... last time he was encouraged we ended up with a human catapult scene that is still giving me nightmares trying to figure out how to pull the damn thing off....

Its like "If you give a mouse a muffin" but worse...
And by worse I do not mean better.

And so we rise again...

I'm going to shut right up now. If encouragement is likely to lead to a request for a full physics engine including elastic energy, levers and ballistics AND all of that to be "scrub-able" on the time line and have synchronised sound and SFX ...

... catapults, people in the air, mice, muffins ... man, I *know* when to shut up.

You let the cat out of the bag, now its too late.
Better bring out the whip and start working!!!!

My mind not only wanders, it sometimes leaves completely.

Twin Peaks!

<<<< Check out the avatar man!

I see you used TM for the original. I'm a TM user myself. But, methinks that TM=he Movies may lose favor over Moviestorm. Sounds great. Mustachio endorses Elm Way.
