=============
Hi I have about 100 original MP3's online that you may try in your films. All you have to do is go to the Archive and find the right ones. I'm a veteran musician of some 20+ years... which doesn't mean I'm any good...but it certainly helps = ADVANTAGES OF MY MUSIC 1) Cross Genre... Rock - Heavy - Solo Piano - Ambient - Film - Tech 2) Most of the tracks are instrumental...and well suited to film. 3) Readily accessible...online and sorted by genre. 4) All the tracks are clean, of good standard and ready to go. 5) They're kinda free... My only stipulations are: (1) A legible credit stating 'RUN415'. (2) You inform me upon publishing -> [POST HERE - PM or EMAIL] (3) An appropriate royalty if your film ever does business. You won't like everything you hear on my site... ...but at least you might find something to experiment with. And if it works there's no reason not to use it. * Read the entire thread for info on - FILMS - REQUESTS - UPDATES =================== Good Movie Music The MP3/music section of my ad-free site can be found here... http://lucidacore.ath.cx/site/lucida/files/mp3.html ======================================== ========================================== |

How very generous of you. I've had a quick listen to a couple of tracks already, very atmospheric but subtle enough to work with most movies, excellent stuff.

Thanks Chris...comments appreciated.
I'm sure audio is a frustrating dilemma for many non-muso film makers... ...so I hope this helps a few people out. Cheers! -------------------- |

Hi Run415, This really is a generous offer, thanks.
I'm looking for some celtic music for my next Moviestorm/IL2 movie, do you have anything like that. The closest I listened to on your webste was Scarborough Fair, not celtic I know, but I liked your interpretation. -------------------- |

Thank you so much, RUN415! How generous of you! I'm really looking forward to using some of your stuff. Just a quick question for my own future reference: do you take requests? What would be your price?

=================
Thank you Gentlemens...for your interest. Comments appreciated. ========= @ TREE No worries. ========= @ LONZO Great! I hope you find something you like. =========== @ UBERSNARK Thanks Uber...I hope it works for ya. I don't really have time to do requests... but it's not out of the question. It depends on the project...what you request... ...and how busy I am at the time. It's important that people exhaust all possibilities in the ARCHIVE first. ('Coz there's hours of music there...and you should be able to find something...if you're prepared to invest the time to look.) I wouldn't feel comfortable charging for my services... unless the project was professional and intended to generate revenue. And even then, there'd be some serious discussions about rights. Anyway, good luck... ...I assure you there are many 'gems' in that Archive. ===================== @ ALL MSers I've been writing some tracks for David Picketts Urban Dream project. (His enthusiasm is infectious! If you're really bored, and like hearing Beethoven hacked to pieces... ...you're welcome to have a look/listen... ODD TO JOY! Cheers. =================== -------------------- |

I really do recommend RUN415 to everyone here, his work is great and he knows an awful lot about music. He also has an ability to create any atmosphere as demonstrated by the tracks on the site.

Wow, that is mighty kind of you. I'll be sure to take a listen to them soon. Now I won't have to rely on my crappy GarageBand music.
Thanks again! -------------------- |

Great atmospheric music which is exactly what I often need and I thank you and yes I credit the musicians who work with me highly. Do you want your real name in the credits?

Thanks for your comments...muchly appreciated. I just hope the Archive is actually useful for somebody. (Although me an 'Picks' have been having some success. ============== @ ACT3 Yeah...the Archive may give you some more options... which is purely its purpose. ============== @ Reptor7 LOL...Cool. Thanks for the encouraging words and taking the time to have a listen. ============== @ Lucinda But Lucinda...the music you compose for your films is perfect... ...it suits them so well. You don't need my gloomy rubbish! But ok...yeah...if you ever need a special 30 secs for something... ...I hope you can find it in the Archive. I'd be honoured. RUN415 is fine (and preferred) as the credit... ...as my name is very common. (eg. Google unfriendly ============== Again, thank you all for your interest :thumbup: ================================ -------------------- |

Hey Run415,
just had a listen to a couple of your atmospheric tracks. I've been mucking around with some more serious movies than my normal silliness. I'm sure I can use some of your creativity in the future! -------------------- |

IMPORTANT UPDATE ================== Firstly, it's great to see the Archive being used effectively. And you'll be glad to know...there are plenty more tracks to come. = STIPULATIONS CHANGE = I've been noticing a few films cropping up without me being notified upon their release. Most likely...I expect...'coz people didn't know they had to. Anyway, to make it easier, I thought it might be a good option to post the films here in this forum, with a link (which is good for you) rather than send me a PM or email notification. This will also allow other users see the results...and give them an idea of what is possible. To get the ball rolling, here's some recent films featuring music from the Archive... reptor7 http://www.moviestorm.co.uk/MSDB/MoviePageServlet?id=1460 Melopee http://www.moviestorm.co.uk/MSDB/MoviePageServlet?id=1482 dPickett http://www.moviestorm.co.uk/MSDB/MoviePageServlet?id=1479 So...something like that is now, all I need to satisfy Condition (2) of the usage stipulations which are... (1) A legible credit stating 'RUN415'. (2) You inform me upon publishing. (3) An appropriate royalty if your film ever does business. = REQUESTS = As I've said before, I don't really have time to do requests...but it's not out of the question. It depends on the project...what you request...and how busy I am at the time. It is suggested you make your request prior to starting your project. Then I can just 'lean in your direction' for a few weeks and see what pops up... ...without having to devote my time specifically to your project. Anyway, good luck with your score. Cheers James ================== -------------------- |

I was about to PM you but I found a very large cuff artifact that took me about half an hour to change my movie to avoid it. Sorry, it is a nice piece of music though and fits perfectly.
