This is pretty damn simple as animation goes, but I think it would add nicely to any upscale home or office.

Number of downloads: 80Scalable, tintable, movable, takes an image, stacks, can be stacked on, washes, dices, slices and will keep you warm at night. C |

You don't have, or know of, any other clocks going modding wise do you? It would just be useful for my latest film. I can get them myself via Sketchup, but a lovely animated time teller wouldn't go amiss Charlie -------------------- |

I can get them myself via Sketchup, but a lovely animated time teller wouldn't go amiss Charlie Hmm...The problem is one of file size. Even a sweep second hand takes up frames 24 pfs X 60 is 1440 frames. I am not sure if it is possible to reduce the frame rate to 1fps. It would give a very jerky movement to a second hand even if it were possible. Maybe 3 fps? I'll see. What sort of clock were you looking for? A picture would help. C |

C Hi, Here's two similar too what I got off Sketchup. They're static, obviously.
Antique_Clock_Tan.jpg ( 36.9K )
Number of downloads: 8
Antique_Clock.jpg ( 20.36K )
Number of downloads: 6And here is something I would quite like:
clock.jpg ( 19.29K )
Number of downloads: 5As you can see, they're all antique clocks. This is pretty important. Thanks, Charlie -------------------- |

Thanks, Charlie You could always play a video of a clock face on a circular prim positioned over the clock you like. The second hand is really the only one anyone is going to see moving though and I don't think any of those clocks have one. Is there a reason why you need to see the minute hand click to the next minute? Again, I'd suggest a video on a prim. -------------------- Sango: "If it was really a miracle everyone would have been saved."
Vargas: "But if everyone was saved how would anyone know it was a miracle." Sango and Vargas arguing over the implications of one person surviving an unexpectedly active tidal season. |

Love this. It'll make a great addition to Jekyll and Hyde 5. Once I've got around to finishing J&H 4 of course

Thanks Charlie. Nice clocks.
Now explain visually what you need to see animated. I am thinking of breaking this into pieces to make it work better. First, whatever clock shape people want. But without any hands. Second, an animated sweep second hand (which is what I have now) Third, an animated minute hand with just moves 1/60th of a rotation. Fourth, an animated hour hand which also moves the same. By assembling, scaling and rotating the actual clock mechanism parts, you should be able to build whatever type of clock you would like set to whatever time you would like. In the end you would have a clock, set to say 11:59. The sweep second hand could turn several times, then the minute hand moves followed by the hour hand to midnight. Anyone see any huge problem with this? C |

QUOTE You could always play a video of a clock face on a circular prim positioned over the clock you like. This could be a solution as well. The only thing is, videos seem to "clog" M/S for me. I suppose I could just put them in after I've done all the animating. The only other issue is that I wouldn't know where to find the videos. Great Idea though! -------------------- |
