I'm not sure whether you're actually trying to run Moviestorm on Windows or on macOS.

That file should be located in the folder of your Windows 8.1 system:

C:\Program Files (x86)\Moviestorm\lib\native\win32

It's a file of 3,476 KB and it's described as the 'SketchupReader Module', version 1.0.0.1, and has these hashes values:

CRC-32: 98123548

MD5: AC2243CA55824D8C87376A975817B9DF

SHA-1: E3015780C98F0F2FD0722C9931BA790A3D4EB1B1

As for its counterpart for macOS, it should be present in a subfolder name lib/native/macosx, inside the Moviestorm's installation folder. It's a file named SketchupReader and should has a size of 4,209 KB. Hashes:

CRC-32: 5D79A568

MD5: B50D1E595B5B603781D8ECE545E0063A

SHA-1: AA6F4F606C9E2B9C4CAEA025BEB1A2638FE5DF33

If you want to tell jokes then use Muvizu; if you want to make 'Movies', use iClone; but if you want to tell stories, use Moviestorm - PrimaveraNZ

I had this problem recently, did a Google search and found out that it's related to Microsoft Visual C++ libaries. I believe it's related to Microsoft Visual C++  2005 redistributable . I downloaded and installed Visual c++ 2006 redistributable but that didn't help the error. I downloaded and installed Visual c++ 2005 redistributable and it corrected the error.

Well, had a SSD card installed. Windows 10, and had to reinstall many of my programs. Modder Workshop, importing Sketchup I could do, use to before the SSD. I Like the SSD, computer boots up fast. And I did a clean install of MS. Eliminated the constant crashing I used to get. Nice. Anyhow, I get the "Can't Locate or Initialise SketchupReader.dll " LOL.

And I've tried everything suggested here in this thread, including this thread: http://www.moviestor...=sketchupreader

All is a NO GO, nothing, nada, kaput. Even googled, and still to no avail.

I've had Win 10 for quite a while, and it used to work, but not since the SSD install. (1 1/2 weeks ago)

So now I throw up my "white flag"  <_< Been defeated.

But can import props using the nbconv, it was just sooooooo convenient using Import thru Modders Workshop. But I do have to figure out how to scale some of the models down before importing.

I imported a "house key" using the nbconv, and when it was imported, thank goodness for allowing "scaling" and scaled it down to 10. It was HUGE  , I swear, the size of the Statue of Liberty.  :D  (facepalm here)

I did bring the KEY into fragmo beforehand, and scaled it, small, and then saved it. Not realizing, the smaller size I thought I scaled it down to, turned out not so much. As when imported it was still that HUGE thing.

But, on the plus side, I get to have fun using some of these smiley's   LOL    Ah, c'est la vie.

So that's been my last day or two trying the all kinds (versions) of Visual C's, and tried registering the DLL with the cmd, even installed Direct X. So that's my story and I'm sticking to it.
