Or did I see a pop-up box appear in camerawork view (in 1.5) which had various weird entries including one that said "Tom's memory trap"? I can't reproduce it, so maybe I'll never know....

There are quite a few menu options that are conditional on having Moviestorm set up as a developer.
Generally they are of limited usefulness, and have 'programmer ui'.
