For the first one I've placed an mscope in my dropbox:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/51344100/movie.mscope The problem with that is three camera instances showing up in director's view but not in camera view. I've checked in the script editor as well with no luck. The second problem is with the Modders workshop. When I attempt to browse to the textures folder to correct the location of a texture for a prop all I get is empty folders after a few navigation clicks. I can manually type the location in or copy past it in from the file explorer externally so it's not a major issue but it is an annoyance. I do recognize that the Modders Workshop issue may be something specific to my computer. Some folder setting maybe? But I thought I'd mention it here just in case. Both of the problems have only been noticed since the last update though, although I have made other changes outside of MS that could potentially have an impact. -------------------- Sango: "If it was really a miracle everyone would have been saved."

I have always had that problem, it has never displayed any files when I have clicked browse even though I know they are there. Slows work down when having to type im manually. -------------------- |

I would very much like a specific example of the texture browser in the modders workshop not working correctly, as it has worked fine for me when trying it after having others say that there is a problem.

I would very much like a specific example of the texture browser in the modders workshop not working correctly, as it has worked fine for me when trying it after having others say that there is a problem. I've attached an image. I checked a prop that was parts based and this did not occur but it did happen in this one which is template based so that may be a clue to the cause. The HoC Whirlpool folder should either have a data folder or an animation and texure folder showing in that window but it's showing as empty.

I'm afraid your broken movie is substantially full of things that dont load, due to missing addons/mods. If you could manage a stripped down version of it, with fewer missing props, and an indication of which animations I need to get (and the mods they are in), then I might be able to load it, and see the problem.
Otherwise, maybe a log.txt would help some, from when the problem occures. -------------------- Ben Sanders

And I apparently got a reply to your previous in while you were posting that.

In your movie.mscope, there only appears to be one camera listed in the scene. There are quite a few camera viewpoints (which are the things listed to the left of the main viewport in the camera view), but there are no keyframes.
Not having any camera keyframes is bad - it means that the camera position is basically arbitarily assigned, rather than something you are specifying in the movie. Try putting a keyframe in at the start of the timeline. With regards to your example for the texture browser being broken - would quite like the reproduction steps (or the addon it happens with) so that I can try it myself. -------------------- Ben Sanders

I think the problem with the browser for textures is that it is failing to handle folder names (eg "HoC Whirlpool") with spaces in them. Will have to do more checks, but when I did a sketchup import with such a name, it had the same problem. An import with the same sketchup fiile with no space in the prop name works fine.
Underscores in filenames are highly recomended as an alternative to spaces. -------------------- Ben Sanders

I think the problem with the browser for textures is that it is failing to handle folder names (eg "HoC Whirlpool") with spaces in them. So its the same issue as the guy with an apostrophe, or whatever it was, in his name but just in a different place. I'll keep the underscore thing in mind for future mods. On the other issue when I opened the movie just now I do not see the camera instances. This particular movie was a "save as" movie to continue a scene that was growing too big. I had deleted all camera activity but camera activity for three separate camera events remained. Perhaps they were ghosts of sorts? No info there to load them but the software had simply not removed them? Just a guess since restarting didn't revive them. -------------------- Sango: "If it was really a miracle everyone would have been saved."
