Would it be possible to create an action in which the actor and actress can dance together, hands on her waist, arms on his shoulders or around his neck (while speaking, or not), is it possible, or does it involve much difficulty?
Thanks!

That kind of animation, an puppet-puppet interaction, is probably the most complex and hard one to get it done right.
If memory serves, apart from those stock interactions bundled with Moviestorm, there are very few examples I'm aware of: 3DTree and Chris Ollie made a few of them, and there's the AfterDark content pack. And that's all, I think.
A dancing animation, with both puppets moving coordinatedly all over the floor, I've never seen such a complex thing!
Answering your questions, "would it be possible?": yes, it can be done. "Does it involve much difficulty?", It's a real hell of a job even for a first class animator, unless a good mocap system and the tools for importing the mocap data are available. Oh, and a couple of dancers!

It's a long while ago (way back in beta) but I had a go at faking a dance routine https://youtu.be/JghXn5RcvoY combining existing animations / walks and using camera angles to avoid ugly intersections.

Holy cow! A 10-year old movie, that's almost a historical document, one of the cuneiform scrawls on a clay tablet kind!
Very very clever camerawork, K. An excellent lesson about how to work around those annoying shortcomings in Moviestorm.

I understand, it will be best to use tricks with gestures already created

Hi Kate...
Now that's good old fashion Directing and Use of your Camera angles work.
