I like this program because of the lip sync is way easier than others

 

Anyway the issue I have here is that the characters are kind not good looking...

 

Is there anyway to make these characters look better (free.)

 

 

I would like some more hair to choose from some more skin, faces, and clothing.

Experiment with the MS morphing features. Other than that, what you see is all of what you'll get.

You could work on the shape of the faces if you were prepared to modify the character meshes in an external program like Blender, but since clothes are not separate from the body mesh and are not affected by any kind of physics you are relatively limited in what you can achieve there. Hair is do-able but again no physics means no hair movement. Armour, hats and and helmets are easy to add though, as long as you can work with the Cal3d file formats.

 

As to skin, that is relatively easy, just requires applying your own images to the meshes. I think Squirrelygirl has done quite a bit of that.
