The Voice Actors Catalog (female/male)
--------------------------------------------------------- I think many people here spend much time with finding voice actors and castings. I think it is more than useful to overtake the method that is used in many machinima forums. If you are a voice actor, please sign in in this post with the following information about you: Name: ... Gender: ... Age: ... Accent(s): ... Voice Sample(s)(if available): ... Contact : ... (e-mail, IM or just leave it out if you only want PM) So every producer has a clear overview overt availabe voice actors and can contact them. Thanks, Korni P.S. I am Lucinda McNary. I play every age woman and man, child, teen, adult,middle age and elderly and I have a range of about three accents, one slightly foreign, American and southern US. I have played many different roles in my own movies out of necessity and many for other filmmakers both on TMO and the Moviestorm crowd.
It is lucky I work pretty fast as I don't have a lot of time anymore. I would say a small role maybe 20 lines takes me about an hour to do from start to finish to get the file to you. I always record my lines in one sitting and redo the whole part if I don't like something. I will cut the lines into individual lines but that takes me a lot of time to do and if you can do that yourself it really helps. Actually when I use actors, I prefer when I receive lines from other actors for my own movies that they record them as one file. I have two roles I need voice overs for but I really need the voices tonight. This is for the movie for Strive's Fire song and it is to promote interest and get some help for food pantries around the country who are running out of donations. Both are male. One is an artist who is volunteering at the food pantry and the other is a newsman who is telling a story about what is going on at food pantries in the city. There is a possibility I might be able to get this movie on TV also since it is newsworthy and for a good cause.

I've made this a sticky, as requested previously. I've noticed that our stickies have a tendency to fall off, though, possibly due to the cheapo glue we use. If it does, just let us know and we'll re-sticky it.

The reason people don't want anything other than sign-ins, is because moviemakers have to sift through the posts, assuming that each post is a new actor on the list. Having posts that aren't sign-ins makes the sifting annoying. Too bad I'm doing this myself right now by saying this in this post. 
I think the point of this thread is to pm the actors from their post and tell them about a casting call and whatnot. -------------------- |
