Project information:

“The Pathopens Project: The Grey People” is scifi project that has been in development for almost three years. When it first premiered in 2009, it already had a strong following and fans were eager to see more.

But I became displeased with the software I was using and therefore, seized production.

For the last year and half, I have been doing ‘research and development’ on several more capable software’s and have finally found the right program to complete this project with.

So what is the grey people about?

In the near future, the world has turned to Pathopens Industries to provide new technologies and at the forefront is an ambitious new energy program code-named "The Pathopens Project". But during its maiden test, a devastating accident plunges the world into darkness.

Two-thousand years later, a young engineer named Nick Stratum awakens from his cryo-sleep to find himself confronted with an odd race of humanoids he calls The Grey People. Its in this moment when Nick must set aside his fears, face the emotions he's run from, and become the leader he never thought he could be.

I'll consider trying out for the computer if my recording qualities are substantial when I post the audition to you. It seems like the part for me. smile.gif

I don't have the time to stop to audition, but if you feel there's a role I can fit for you by all means sign me up. You can hear me in my own moviestorm movie in the Now Showing forume. "Wyrd." I play the red haired male.

There's a few other MS movies I'm in but none are out quite yet ^^;;

Ah, no big deal Brandon.

If you get a extra few minutes anytime before the deadline, do a quick audition if you think there is a role there for you.

If you don't have the time to do an audition maybe having a role in the film wouldn't be that realistic. smile.gif

Is it OK to audition for multiple parts, and hope I get one of them? Or should I just pick one?

We've had some great auditions, but I will not make any decisions until after the deadline - this gives you an opportunity to audition for as many characters you like!

Thanks!

Hi D.L, are you looking for a particular accent? or does it not matter if a voice from the U.K is sent over?

British...American...whatever you think suites the character. If you can do both, send me both ways and I can go from there.

But there isn't a requirement.

Thanks!

Hi I recorded the lines I'm interested in and they're in wav format. Is there any way or some kind of program to format it to mp3 as you requested. I'm green to that type of thing.

Thanks,
S :-)

Auditions for The Grey People are now closed.

I'm very excited about working on this long-overdue project and I'm thrilled that so many of you have expressed not only your interest in being apart of it, but seeing the finished product.

I'll be getting in touch with each and everyone of the auditioners, letting them know my decisions. This open casting call was to allow you to choose a role you were most interested in, but it was also a way to hear your voice because while I may not think your best for the role your auditioned for, you might be best for something else.

I hope no one is disappointed by the decisions I make, or feel that because they didn't get the lead role, they somehow lacked talent. Everyone who auditioned has tremendous talent - so much so I'm surprised that they are not doing professional works (if they are not already).

I also want to let everyone know that I will not be giving any critical advise to any to those auditioned. It's not my place to coach you how to act. However, if you are brought on board the project, if you struggle with anything, I will do my best to help and provide input. But please don't expect me to tell you how to act or give advice.

I will be posting constant updates on the production. I'm a facebook/twitter junky (I know, I need help. tongue.gif) so if you want to follow along or tell your friends about the project, you can do so at www.facebook.com/TheGreyPeople or www.facebook.com/LeefilmEntertainment or www.twitter.com/leefilm

There will be an official webpage very soon.

And if you want to learn more about your's truly, you can check out the article written by the software company I'm using to help make this film. http://www.moviestormblog.com/index.php/mo...d_entrepreneur/

Thanks so much and I look forward to working with all of you!
