From the README file:

MSAddonChecker, by jamoram

Current version: 0.5.0
Last Update: 2017/11/28

A quick-and-dirty little tool to check the format of your Moviestorm addon files.

HOW TO USE:
----------
Simply drag and drop any number of addon files, ZIP archives or folder into the zone labelled of the main form of the application.
Any potential addon file will be checked to determine whether it will work or not with the current version of Moviestorm.

Available from the shared Tool folder: https://drive.google...bTN4cGk4R3hDSW8

File name: MSAddonChecker v#####.zip

NOTES:

- In its current state, the checks performed are quite elementary, simply verifying that a few metainfo files are present inside the addon archive, so other possible problems with the contents of the addon can't be discarded. However any file rejected by the tool won't certainly work with the most recent versions of Moviestorm.

- Eventually, the functionalities implemented in MSAddonChecker will be integrated into its senior sister MSCompanion.

Very cool little tool. Thanks for sharing. Nice to be able to check what works and what doesn't. Already found one that says invalid file or format. :)

Anytime, M.

New version 0.5.1 now available: it also checks the version of your Sketchup files, a very convenient thing before trying to import them via the import wizard which comes with the Modder's Workshop.

New in version 0.7.0.

    - added support for .RAR and 7z archives
    - detection of addon files "disguised" as archives

    - added filter: report only files with issues

    - additional info about addons: publisher and licencing status
    - minor UI enhancements

Also, the source code has been made public and it's available from the same folder.

Thanks JAM...

Great work. I'll be using this to double check all addons in the Vault.

I'll be using this to double check all addons in the Vault.

Actually, that was a good reason to get the tool written at last.

I've detected a good deal of addons with an obsolete non-working format in my own collection and requiring re-publishing, so I can easily imagine what you'll find in your Vault.

Thank you all.

Forgot to say, but any suggestion or report about problems will be greatly appreaciated.

There's still much room for improvement and a major redesign is in the works, to implement some extra functionalities -mostly informative-, so you're gladly to express your opinion and suggestions.
