Did you ever missed a single with all the interactions seen in the double kingsize bed? Have you hated to the bone that silly clumsy unnecessarily large seat known as "single bed"?

Both the left and right-side versions of the single bed are now ready. A new demo clip demonstrating them is now available.

 

Currently, there's only a tintable variant for both versions. Next thing in my to-do list for this addon:

- Additional variants taking user images

- Hospital beds - I'd really love get this done! I've missed them many a time in the past. No promises here but this is my very first priority.

- Other variants that could eventually spring to mind?

Hi jam...

Great work on the bedroom left/right animations. The tossing and turning looks great and is very useful. Any chance of while their sitting up in bed: 1) getting a phone call (now that we can answer the phone,thank you.) 2) reading a book.

As a matter of fact, these thingies are nothing but variants of the double kingsize bed, included in the DomesticDrama02 content pack IIRC, so they have exactly the same functionalities and capabilities than the original thing.

 

What's somehow funny is that for placing these single beds in your set, you'll first need to search and select a double bed   A bit counterintuitive and paradoxical, I know, but this is the way life uses to be.

 

Regarding your requests, maybe I'm wrong but I think the double bed included some animations for the reading-a-book routine. As for the phone, I'm not quite sure whether the animations I've created so far are compatible with the laying-in-the-bed posture, though I'm afraid that some special animations will be called for this.

    HOW TO USE:

    Pillow and bed cover: these variants are provided so you may bring in your own bed base variant, and then place this pillow-and-cover prop stacked on it, to fake a complete new bed.
    
    Accessories for hospital beds: just search and select by their name, reposition and resize as needed.

Thank you very much for your work, it's a great idea, I was desperate not to have that animation in a single bed, I always used the trick of using a double bed.
By the way, I have an important scene in a hospital but I lack interactions, that is:
visitor sitting on a chair, next to the bed leaning toward the sick person who is in bed.
who could also take a hand, whisper something in his ear.
that the visitor, sitting there, put his hand on the forehead of the sick man, stroked the cheek.
These interactions would be very important for me, are they possible?

I couldn't agree more with you about the interest and the added value they would bring in to dramma movies.

 

However, when I tested this mod, I've noticed that some, if not all, of the postures of the puppets laying on the bed interfere with gestures involving the puppet's arms, locking them. I don't know exactly the details of theses animations, and at this very moment I'm certain they are perfectly feasible but not sure how to implement those interactions you suggested, probably and ideally as puppet-puppet interactions.
