Hi Ben,

If I click the "remember me" button and close the site then reopen it I am still logged in. But if I wait an hour or so and do it I am logged out. The website cookies aren't set to expire after some very short period are they? I haven't changed anything on my PC since you redid the site.

Cheers,

John

More info.

Open  MS site in Chrome,

login,

open another window and browse somewhere.

Close original MS tab then reopen.

I'm still logged in.

Close chrome.

Reopen

go to MS site

I'm logged out.

The same happens with Firefox. However with Internet Explorer I am still logged in even after closing IE completely and reopening.

Are the cookies somehow not compatible with non IE browsers?

Another issue (which occurs in Chrome, Firefox and IE). Sign into site, click "Movies" click "Log Out". The message "Disallowed Key Characters" appears and I don't get logged out.

Thanks for reporting these.

Which site are you logging into which seems to have the short cookie duration? (Forums, community or hub?)

If you click the Movies link on the forums to get to the Community page, until it's fixed, you need to add /index.php (so that you're on http://www.moviestor...ity/index.php).This way the "community" part in the path is kept if you click movie links, My Account, Log out etc. Otherwise you receive the "Disallowed Key Characters" error.
