Hi All,

I need adult male actors with voices that sound like they range somewhere between 25-40 years old. I need non-regional American or British accents. This is for a new series and the episodes are non-recurring so this would be for just one episode (plus trailer). I am hoping those interested are willing to audition. The episodes are completely character driven so great acting and a decent mic are key. I know some people have other work they've done but it's sometimes hard to discern which character you are and sometimes not an accurate indicator of mic quality (eg. compression distorts quality). I know that is asking a lot but I really need to find the right voices to play my characters that I've spent a lot of time developing. You also have to be the kind of person who isn't skiddish about cursing or sexual content.

What can I offer in return? Fame and riches! I wish but obviously not. The satisfaction of contributing to a worthwhile project? I hope so. I have 7 years of machinima experience in Sims (none in MS yet) and I went by Decorgal Productions in a previous life. I also contributed a lot to the Sims machinima world with mods and am planning to do the same with MS. You can check me out on my site at www.povmachinima.com if you want to know the kind of work I do. My post count's a bit low to be asking for help but I did post a little bit under the name Decorgal until I decided to ditch that.

If you're interested, please email me at povmachinima[at]gmail.com (replacing [at] with @). Thanks in advance for your consideration.

Judy

I'm not sure of my voice acting skill but I might be willing to have a go at it.

I did the voices for my videos and for andy_price's Star Trek ad here:

I have a natural british middle age voice, but can do accents. I would be happy to do a VO for you, if you could send me some lines I will record them for you so that you can audition my voice.

Does that make all the rest of us "Unnatural" or "Supernatural"? laugh.gif

I'm male, and can do a British accent, its just I'm below the age you wanted, but I'll give it my best shot, if you need more VO's. My email is:

Hi POV (must resist typing Decorgal smile.gif )

If you need more voice artists, I know there are quite a few who hang out over at http://www.tmoaradio.com/vb/index.php

I'm not sure if you are already a member there (I'm a member but my post rate is very low..just due to lack of time)

Maybe one of the more regular TMU members could make some suggestions as to good people to approach?

Hi, Judy, I'd like to voice audition as well. send me your script sides in which you'd like for me to read for you. I have a good professional microphone. i currently work as a video editor for a production house. I have acted in movies as well. Here is my link to IMDb if you're interested in my work experience:

I opened the email this morning and am giving it a shot. Don't hesitate to send the script to others to read though. I'm not sure enough of my voice acting to pull this off the way you want and you will likely want a different voice for each of the males anyway.smile.gif
