I noticed that on moviestorm max you charge 225$ and on moviestorm max, it's possible even to buy 100,000 point for 500$. So why would anyone pay 500 dollars if they can buy the Max for 225 dollars?
or is it just for one year and not forever if I buy the Max version?

The ability to buy the points for $500 was around before the option to buy Max was, which was enough points to get all the content they had at the time and enough to keep you in content for a while afterwards.

Granted there isn't a need for so many points if you buy Max, but even after you buy it you may want some points for content that is released after your purchase.

For Max, your license would be a lifetime subscription, unless used one of the other subscription offers (monthly, etc.) That covers and version of MS 1.x and is pretty much the same as if you bought it outright. It's yours forever. That also gives you free updates, modder's workshop and the ability to import 3rd-party content. Once MS 2.0 comes out, you would have to buy that too, as that would not count as a free upgrade, but a whole new build.
