ever have one of those days? your broadband at home fails, the cable box fails, the car goes on the blink, your credit card has been nobbled by some ID copier and you can't find your passport 6 hours before you have to leave for a transatlantic flight. Then you find that one of the hotels you are booked into has "lost" a room booking and you have no internet to fix the booking? That has been my day. If it was a movie, no one would believe it.

I just wanted to wish all the best for the LA Moviestorm event and a fun time to all of the lucky ones that will able to attend.

Unfortunely i live too far from America...in Portugal ( ) so i hope you can post your opinions when you came back home. Maybe one day you can arrange an event in my country laugh.gif . That would be a great thing bacause it would mean that Moviestorm was a big and international sucess, like we all hope it wil be. Have fun.

Arrived safely and already talking to wonderful machinima people. OK, so one laptop has gone "out of service", but we have spares.

Looking good.

While we are here we have meetings with some majors, some production studios and some movie related trade bodies, so it is going to be a busy week

thanks for good wishes!

Don't miss gToon's report at the link Michelle supplied. gToon and Suhnder did a great job summarizing the evening.

I came away with confidence and enthusiasm for the future of Moviestorm. I just wish I had come away with some usable video.

Matt, you have the only photos of the gathering. Hope they turned out well.

Thank you again, Matt and DavidB, and to all your hard working crew as well.
The forecast is - MOVIESTORM!

I found the "reports" on the event very interesting. Looks like everyone had a good time. I was happy to see that things are coming along at a good pace. I'm just unhappy I couldn't be there sad.gif oh well, maybe next time!
