Hello,

I can log into my account fine online and on my Mac (to access Moviestorm). However, I am giving a presentation here in Ny and wanted to demonstrate MS live at the conference. I installed the trial version on my secondary computer (A PC netbook, an older computer). I am having the same LOGIN issues that another user complained about. I cannot access MS on this netbook because it says it cannot connect to MS, even though when I click on My Moviestorm, it goes straight to my account. My password is correct, and so is my login information. Everything is fine on my Mac.

I see this has been a problem for several days for users.

Is this a PC specific issue? I had hoped to have conference goers see the program in the presentation and actually have a chance to test it out. Hoping there is an easy fix.

Thank you!

Sabrina

I have been in touch with MS and I understand that they are trying to fix it at the moment.

I doubt if it is specific to PCs as I am able to connect on mine - it is probably because the cookie (or whatever other mechanism they use to maintain your session on your Mac was still active so lets you use MS but that  the PC's one had been cleared or expired since last used ( If it ever had been) .

That makes sense. Hoping that they fix the issue and that it doesn't affect my Mac. I still have about 20 minutes of animation left for my film that I have been working on for the last year. Seems to be a big issue, though. Even random folks on youtube are contacting me about it.

Got this from Andrew this morning :-

"The solution to the problem with accessing our license server via https is alluding the team, so we have created a temporary fix.
Please download this MSpatch.zip file (http://chilp.it/acc0e94) and in msdb.properties, replace https with http by installing this patch in your Moviestorm/boot/conf folder (you will need admin privileges).
I apologise again for any inconvenience this has caused."
