Greetings everyone, I plan to use Moviestorm with a touch of Iclone to make a spy movie entitled, Down To A Sunless Sea. The protagonist is an agent for Stratum (my fictional armed extension of ECHELON, the intelligence gathering alliance of the English speaking nations)
My log line would be: "A missing American President, a rogue French agent, a forgotten nation, and the undead threaten to drag the world Down To A Sunless Sea." Plot Summary: The American President disappears along with two ex presidents, and Stratum agent Matthew Long is sent to France to investigate. He encounters a French intelligence community in turmoil as all clues point to a forgotten former Soviet republic where supernatural entities have taken charge. I am hoping to include some foreign language parts and use subtitles for those lines so if anyone speaks Russian or French you could be of great help! I can translate the Spanish parts as I am bilingual. If the foreign language parts are not filled by March 4th we may go straight English. I plan on voicing the part of Matthew Long, the main character. The following are brief character descriptions of the rest of the cast including sex, nationality, age, number of lines, etc. All lines are in English with number of foreign language lines noted in parentheses. Sophie Moreaux ![]() Female, French, 30. 79 lines (2 lines in French, 4 lines in Spanish.) She is a French intelligence agent. She speaks primarily English, but I'm looking for a French accent. Audition line 1: "You lost control of the situation, Mr. Long." (said calmly while driving) Audition line 2: "You lost someone you loved." (said seriously/softly...she's about to sleep with the person she's speaking to.) Enrique Mataleza ![]() Male, Spanish, 40-45. 20 lines (5 lines in Spanish.) A sort of Black-Ops Priest/Vampire Hunter. He speaks English with a Spanish accent (preferably from Spain.) Audition line 1: " That could tell much had it spoken. The church was good thinking, but now it is angry." Audition line 2: "Te imploro. No saben en lo que se están metiendo. Si no quieren esperar aquí pueden venir conmigo." (said in great seriousness...He's trying to warn these people that they are in some serious crap.) Baptiste Petite ![]() Male, French, 50ish. 16 lines (1 line in French.) Petite is the Estate Manager for La Belle Dame Irene, a pop singer. Audition line 1: " Ah yes, Mr. Fisher from Gordon Brothers! How excellent of you to accept our invitation. La Belle Dame Irene performs her newest song tonight." Audition line 2: " And here we have Irene's favorite garden. It was inspired by the music of Abba. Are you a fan, Mr. Fisher?" Ivana Volva ![]() Female, Eastern European, 40ish. 15 lines (1 line in German.) Ivana, a vampire, is Krieger's mysterious concubine. Was she Russian or was she German? Who knows? A thick accent is preferred. Audition line 1: "Would you like to bathe in the blood of virgins?" (English is not Ivana's native tongue, and she is not asking happily nor out of curiosity. It is an invitation.) Audition line 2: " When in Rome, Mr. Long...." (She is using the When-in-Rome-do-as-the-Romans-do phrase. The emphasis should be on the word, Rome.) Alan Turner ![]() Male, American, 40. 14 lines. Turner, like Long, is a Stratum Intelligence agent. Audition line 1: "You expect me to respond to that?" (Said calmly, but he has just been accused of treason. Try raising/scrunching your eyebrows while saying it.) Audition line 2: "All these years doing dirty work with the limeys and that special relationship crap. It never bothered you?" (Imagine pouring a drink while saying this. You're about to kill someone or he's going to kill you....you're just buying time with this bit of conversation.) Kayad Al-Harb ![]() Male, French-Algerian, 40ish. 11 lines (1 line in French, 1 line in Russian.) Kayad is a terrorist who has infiltrated the French Secret Service. A French accent is preferred. Audition line 1: " Bonjour, M. Fisher. Il est merveilleux que vous soyez ici!" (excited, happy) Audition line 2: " Yes, I am afraid so. And you are not of the faith so if you die you will die like dog." (said as if it is a matter of common knowledge.) Sir Robert Norgrave ![]() Male, English, 55-60ish. 10 lines. Norgrave is a Stratum Station Commander. Older British guy accent is preferred. Audition line 1: "An unlikely suspect for our investigation. But he was seen with Joseph Callum three months ago in Paris." Audition line 2: "Highly unusual. They've given no plausible explanation for the request." (Stress the word, highly.) Further character images and info follow in the thread. Recording Information: I prefer .wav files, and you may make it a short file name by just using the initials of the character and "al" being short for "audition line" followed by the number. For example, an audition line for Sophie could be: smal01 for the first audition line, and smal02 for the second audition line. For Krieger's incredibly long name, just use K, as in: kal01 for the first audition line, etc. Contact: Send your auditions to: majorlance@hotmail.com Deadline: April 02, 2011 |

Sounds excellent. But there is one think that detracts hugely from the authenticity....Female UK News anchors are Scottish not English - well the best ones are

I'm planning on updating with audition lines, and I think I'll post some photos of the characters too. Right now I'm trying to see if there are ways to do less of the project in iclone and more in Moviestorm. Any ideas who could come up with a Russian general's uniform? I have an iclone puppet decked out in a Soviet uniform, but it doesn't look that great. |

my voice might suit Sir Robert Norgrave , I am mid 40`s and English, I should be able to add a few years to my voice. I will get your audition lines done in the morning.
one thing though, Audition line 1: "An unlikely suspect for our investigation. But he was seen with Joseph Callum three months ago in Paris." in an english accent would scan better as "An unlikely suspect for our investigation. But he was seen in Paris, three months ago, with Joseph Callum.." is it ok if I do it both ways and you can chose which you think is better -------------------- |
