I'd like to nominate my own movie for best special effects, or worse special effects; I don't care which.

Dont be nervous folks. If you feel your movie is worthy of the hall of fame then by all means please mention it. I should also take this chance to mention that this is NOT a contest. There are no categories or prizes this is just a section of our website that will feature the best and brightest Moviestorm movies to show to anyone who wants to know what we do.
Tank out. (PS. If you want to nominate your own movies but your shy, please by all means bung me a PM) |

I think some of mine are worthy of consideration, but then again I'm getting used to being invisible...

I think some of mine are worthy of consideration, but then again I'm getting used to being invisible... I'm sorry. Do we know you? And yes, almostt anything by Lux is worthy of inclusion, "'trees for the woods" etc.... -------------------- "I have had the same problem with getting the wheels to rotate properly with animated cars. I have a long list of movies I haven't seen yet so I'll probably be making a return visit. So what to choose? Looking through this thread I agree with almost every choice, particularly anything by Sisch, Chat Noir and Iceaxe.
In addition to those, I'd like to nominate; 'I bin gat wan taem' by Primaveranz for being one of the most beautiful and sensitive movies made with MS. 'Valentine's After the Acopalypse' by Act3Scene24. It cracks me up every time I see it. 'L'Intrus' by Luxaeternam. A well thought out and filmed thriller with some great twists in it. 'Comfort of Darkness' also by Lux. This is superb. I have no other word for it. Plus it showcases Lux's amazing voice talent. 'Counting Clouds' by Allut. Great story telling and beautifully made. 'Debt' by KV. Scary enough to bring me out in a sweat. As said, may be back later with more Many thanks to the wonderful people who nominated Jekyll and Hyde, The Little Match Girl's Revenge and Danse Macabre. I'm chuffed to small pieces. And for those of you still thinking about it, I have lots of movies that haven't been nominated yet |

I'd also like to nominate a film called, Entity, by KV. It's not only a great short, but it features one of the best, creepiest scenes I've ever seen. 19:30 - 20:30. Awsome!!!!
Entity! -------------------- Master Mind

Anything by Jorge Campos aka act3scene24 This. Also, everything else you said. To be more constructive, I'll add that Anonymous is my favorite Jorge movie. The moments with the teenage girl and her father are heartbreaking and some of the most emotional storytelling I've seen from a Moviestorm movie. |

There are loads of great MS movies, but one which really tickles me and might get lost is Nahton's frankenstein in Shanghei http://youtu.be/HbFLosP5uqg okay well I am going to second that because yeah its pretty funny and ingenious and takes advantage of CC stuff among other things lol I had another one I really liked but I missed this link and when going through the thread again saw it so second this haha oh my.. |

Dont be nervous folks. If you feel your movie is worthy of the hall of fame then by all means please mention it. I dont think that this is a good idea, because most stormers are very proud of their work, such as I am very proud of The Raven, Death on the Tallahachie Bridge and Star Trek Chronicles EP1 but think it would be very presumptuous of me to nominate them, that would like giving myself 5 stars on the rating system, which defeats the object -------------------- |

I dont think that this is a good idea, because most stormers are very proud of their work, Agreed. I am a poor judge of my own stuff. If its good enough to interest someone with no connection to it then the nomination has a bit more substance than if it's just me liking what I did. -------------------- Sango: "If it was really a miracle everyone would have been saved."
Vargas: "But if everyone was saved how would anyone know it was a miracle." Sango and Vargas arguing over the implications of one person surviving an unexpectedly active tidal season. |
