In an effort to get back into Moviestorm modding, I've started with taking one of my popular free mods and remastering it for Moviestorm 1.5+

This pack allows you to raise your actors off the ground! Put them on the roof of a building, make a elevated floor, or just hover in the sky!

What does the pack include?
  • 5x5 Meter Platform
  • 20x20 Meter Platform
  • 40x40 Meter Platform
  • Variable Scale 1x1 Meter Platform with Mobility Enabled (To make your character move without walking)
Each of the platforms are textured to make it easy to distinguish in complex sets and low-lit scenes. They will be INVISIBLE in camera/render mode.

The price is still right too: ABSOLUTELY FREE!

Get your hands on the new pack here: http://bit.ly/16Sv6vx

Please forgive my ignorance, but what's the advantage of this addon in relation to the resizable navmesh that comes in the Base01 pack of MS v1.7, if any? I've made some tests with the latter and it seems to behave rather satisfactorily and as expected.

I do not think there are any advantages, now. Earlier versions of Moviestorm did not support resizable nav meshes (which resized the characters walking on them, which did not work well), and thus there was a need for nav meshes of different sizes. Additionally, the nav mesh that is in the Base pack now, was originally part of one of the other content packs, and thus was not available to everyone.

So if you are already using this addon, that is fine, but there is probably not a need for it if you are not already using it.

Looks interesting - but the link is broken.

Could this be found elsewhere?

Thanks,

Jon

Please check the reply of Ben Sanders (back then, part of Moviestorm's staff) to my question.

In short: this old addon by D.L. Watson made sense only with earlier versions of Moviestorm, but it's absolutely unnecessary if using the current version.
