Hello Everyone!

Been busy like a banshee. Anyway, I recently received a commission for a work for Malletkat (and electronic xylophone MIDI trigger) and multimedia. The work is called Destiny: Eondwyr and combines video gameplay with liver performance. Just like a video game, the performer receives about 50 different audio tracks, 60 comic book panels, a basic storyline structure, and scores with leitmotifs (short musical snippets that represent each character or scene). Then the performer compiles all of this into his or her own personal version of Destiny:Eondwyr and performs it live using Malletkat and a MIDI trigger for images (right now Ableton Live is the choice, but we will probably change that).

Anyway, this is what I am working on this summer. There is no video, only graphic novel panels. I started working on screenshots in MS with characters. More will be up as the project progresses. Will be using MS with Comic Life and Photoshop to create the panels. Music will be composed in Logic and Finale, then used in Ableton.

There are six main characters (plus a few armies). I have a few characters up right now:

After the first performance in 2015, the hope is to create a soundtrack of the music (heavily video game inspired) and presentations at an international music convention.

For those that didn't catch my latest project Libertaria, it is now up online:
