Draw Muhammad Day was started in 2010 after two world-events: 1. Riots ensued after the publication of some innocuous cartoon-drawings of Muhammad in a Denmark newspaper. 50 people died. 2. South Park makers Trey Parker and Matt Stone and the Comedy Central offices were sent death threats when it was discovered that Muhammad would be featured in the 200th episode of South Park. Comedy Central owner Viacom issued a directive to censor Muhammad from the episode. It's notable that Muhammad had already appeared in three previous episodes of South Park, with no reaction at all from any muslim. So this is my contribution to demonstrating that a cartoon's a cartoon and people should never get pissl, let alone violent, about one. :-) -------------------- |

Nothing like facts and satire to expose the ridiculousness of religious fanaticism which, by the way, comes in many religions. That being said, I hope I don't encounter the "swift justice" mob.
