Today I just finished my 2nd moviestorm video. I'll post it as soon as I finish adding a bit of post production. I also redid my first video, with two new actors instead of my husband doing all three male voices.
During the time between my first and second video, I stumbled along dropbox. WOW is all I can say when it comes to collaborating with others on making movies. Using Dropbox is SO much easier than emailing lines, writing instructions, emailing files, etc. I gave the actors access for a single folder containing copies of the scripts for the videos (my versions were stored in "unshared" folders). Then, I told them to "go to it" and it was fantastic! They email me when the files are there, I move them to a secure folder as backup (because one person did inadvertently delete some of the files), and when it comes time to put the lines in MS, I just navigate right to the folder. No more messing around with emails or downloading or anything. I'm sure many of you probably already use or know about Dropbox, but in case you didn't, I figure I'll mention it. Dropbox definitely rocks for Moviestorm collaboration. Christine |

I use Dropbox at my day job to deliver voiceover files, and on my freelance projects to collaborate with any client where I am not using something like Celtx's online studio. Excellent product--really could not accomplish much most days without it.
