If you dabble in fighting packs, may I suggest different fighting stances? There's actually plenty out there. (In taekwondo for example- standard (forgot name...) and harugashogi ("horse stance"; used for defense).)

I would like a way to tint the sky. The only night sky is too light even if I really darken the lighting.

That would make my eternal sunset easier as well.

It's now (in the hopefully soon 1.5) possible to tint the skydome (but not the colour of the sky image).

You can still make extra sky textures by putting them in a new addon in Data/Sky; they need the ddds image (existing ones are 1024x256), and a jpg thumbnail. See in Base01/Data/Sky for existing examples.

Thanks Ben, I will look for the images then and try that.

Because its a DDS file, you can make it transparent if you want. If you need a totally black background with no edges anywhere, this works pretty well. I used the technique in my (now old) movie "RebirtH".

Animated water is on our shortlist for Bonus Content as quite a few people have mentioned it recently. Similarly, we'd like to get a lot more sports animations and costumes - although some of the more obscure sports will be excluded if they wouldn't be useful to a wide number of Moviestormers.

Water would be great. Is this hinting at an improved rendering system? I saw mention of tweaks or something somewhere (might have been the dev blog).

Excellent! My "Synchronised Swimming" bloodbath needs both of those. wink.gif

Plus standing-around-around drinking-tea animations, reading-the-paper animations, and costumes featuring way-too-low trousers showing way-too-much.. umm.. cleavage.

I could use some Bullet holes!

in walls and doors (one hole at a time and in a machinegun-like animation
cracks in glass
puffs of dust or smoke
sparks for metal surfaces
exploding glass bottle animations
short circuiting electronic thing animation

It would be nice to have variants of some of the existing costumes. Like the soldier uniform without the vest, a suit with the jacket off, trousers with bare feet and no shoes, etc.

Just noticed my stupid typo. That should be "trousers with bare feet and no *shirt*, etc." Right now, it's not as easy as it might be to have characters look like they were interrupted while dressing, or are chilling after a long day, or have done anything that would result in a partial change of clothing.
