K-Lite Mega Codec Pack located at http://www.codecguid...atures_mega.htm . This is a pack full of audio/video codecs. Codecs like Dixv, Windows Media, Xvid, X-264, AC3/DTS, MP3, etc. Apple Quicktime is not included, must be download separately.
QuickTime Alternative is a cut-down version of Apple Quicktime. You can get it from http://www.codecguide.com/about_qt.htm .
I use both of these programs and they are very good programs.

Xnview is a freeware image viewer. It can also convert between different formats. Over 400 formats are supported. You can get this program from http://www.xnview.com/en/index.html .
Madtracker is a freeware module (aka mods) music tracker. Module music is different from midi because module music uses real samples of instruments. This program can only export to ogg format.
LeoCad is a freeware 3D design software to create Lego models. You can get LeoCad from http://www.leocad.org/win.htm . LeoCad requires the Ldraw library which you must download from http://www.ldraw.org/. Now, LeoCad can export to 3Ds which is good. This program can help Moviestorm users to make Lego toys which you can use in your movies.

Debug Mode Wax has a number of post production video effects. And while it might not be the prettiest interface or the easiest to use, it does a lot and it's free.

Lsmaker is a freeware program for creating Lightsaber/light sword attacks. Might be of use to people who create Sci-Fi movies. You can download it from http://lsmaker.uw.hu/page.php .
Lstext is a freeware program for creating scrolling text such as the text scene in the Star Wars movies. You can also get this from http://lsmaker.uw.hu/page.php .
SSbump is a free program for creating bump maps and normal maps. This program was designed mainly with Half-life 2 in mind but it might have a use for Moviestorm. One problem though, it only supports TGA pic files.
Psycle is a free modular music production software program. This is a powerful program. It has a good amount of effects. This program supports VST Plugins so you can add more effects to the program. You can download the program from http://psycle.pastno....org/portal.php . Also download some songs from the website to see what this program can do. It can also render your music as a wave file.
Balabolka is a freeware text to speech program which you can download from http://www.cross-plu...m/balabolka.htm .
Mediacoder is a free audio/video converter. This program is constantly updated a lot and supports many audio/video formats. Also, if you have an Nvidia card, this program supports CUDA acceleration .You can get the program from http://www.mediacoderhq.com/ .
I found another freeware program. It's called ScapeMaker and it's a landscape creator. I tried out the program & it's easy to use. There is one program though, you can't export to a graphics file, you have to render the 3D pic and select fullscreen then use a screen capture prog to capture your landscape. Other than that, it's a good program. You can get it from http://wareseeker.co...-1.3.zip/364780 .
Also I like would to give people a very good freeware site called Primewares which you can access at http://primewares.com/ . It has over 36,000 freeware/open source programs. You might find some software there that you can use in making your movies.
