Looking amazing. And hopefully not too late in adding to this, but I'd also agree that I'd prefer the self-illuminated panels if forced to choose!
Can't wait for this to be released! Dex -------------------- MacBook Pro - Intel Core 2 Duo - 2.66 GHz - 4 GB RAM - NVIDIA GeForce 9400M/9600M GT - Snow Leopard (10.6.4)

Looks truly stunning this set!
Hate to be cheeky and if its a secret tell me to shut up, but may I ask how you get your puppets to walk across each floor that you have created? I have used navmesh platforms which I made (invisible ones) however I could not get a puppet to cross from one platform to the next, they would only walk on a single platform and not seem able to step off it or go to another Oh and self illuminated panels would look great, particularly for anyone planning to use dark corridors (like I do a lot lol). -------------------- |

Sorry for the late response kv, I didn't get an email. The set comes with a specially made navmesh which conforms to the entire built set. If you decide to custom build your own corridor design, it also includes a very large nav-mesh which should cover pretty much any custom design. As far as an update, the content pack is nearly finished. I've recorded and rendered the first tutorial and now am working on the second. Hopefully, I should have it finished sometime in the next week or so. Thanks everyone for your patience! -------------------- |

I'm now working on Version 2.0 as Version 1.0 has a very minor glitch in the newly released Moviestorm 1.3.
This new version is a 100% brand new set. Its higher, its bigger, and the textures are very high-quality. Clocking in at 25050 vertices (6 individual props at about 4k each) this is one hunk of a set. Surprisingly, I've made it much quicker the the first one. Anyways, here is a wireframe: ![]() And a quick render: ![]() When finished, this will be a free update for the customers of Version 1.0 and will remain $3.00 or 300 MSP for those who haven't yet got it. Thanks all! -------------------- |

Thanks all! Great developments, in textures and design. You're really pushing the boundaries of what a prop can be and still run smoothly in Moviestorm. version 1 ran very well on a modest system. High quality props on a low poly base and good textures is not so easy to do. Well, made a little progress on the corridor today. I'm working on trying to make it more simple for folks to use the set.
I'm utilizing the parts system in Modders Workshop to allow two different meshes for the same prop. This allows folks to start off in the corridor without any piping, walls, etc etc and just focus on getting their scene developed. Then when finished, they can go back, click on the set and choose the alteration and the full prop will load around their scene. Now from the testing I'm doing, one will still need to make some minor adjustments to make things align perfectly - but it shouldn't be too much trouble. I've also create a new variation on the corridor. Curved sections. This makes it great to create a sense of depth without necessarily having to add a lot of props. They will come with their own navmesh to make using them that much easier. Here is a screenshot using the curved sections. This is 100% MOVIESTORM! The weird red and green version is testing MS's new 3D export function. Very nice. Note: if you have the red and green 3d glasses, make sure you put them on with the green over over right eye and the red over your left. ![]()

Great to see you using the parts-system too. A byproduct of this would be the ability for users to change full texture variations, just by clicking on a section on the multi-part prop; grunge, clean, etc. :-)
".....some minor adjustments to make things align perfectly....." If you use and export with 3dsMax this info maybe of some value--- it'll be a snap for alignment on square objects- though version 1.0 was pretty easy and fast to align the props anyway. -------------------- 3DTree Addons: Click for details: *Free # Battlestar Colonial fleet || $7 Rural001 Addon: click here for details~_ --:Free Japanese style school building block~_ _~- -:*Free DoJo with Animation~__~- NEW:*Free LivingRoomExtras~__~ *Free # MS-Car Delorean ~__~ *Free # 3DTreeTrek01 addon ~__~ *Free # Panda01addon ~__~ *Free # Explode02 |

Well, all the props are finished importing into Moviestorm. I've gone through and re-sized all of the HD textures down to 512x512 and applied specular and normal maps.
So, at this point, everything is nearly finished. I'm adding some new floor, wall, and ceiling textures. I may even add some bonus stuff that I've been working on...but Ill leave that for your to find as a surprise. So expect this to be released shortly. Again, it will be a free update for those who have purchased the pack. ![]() Using the parts system, you can change the mesh to show the platform only. This makes it easier to focus on your film-making and then you can go back and change it to a full set. ![]() A look at the new version of the corridor as seen from the camera inside of Moviestorm 1.3! -------------------- |
