Hey everyone-

 

   Started my Moviestorm trial and going to get a Max license on June 3rd or 4th. I'm working on a script for a film that takes place in the 1960s {with some parts in the late 40s and into the 50s} and was looking through both the base clothing content and the sets. There is a dress with an apron in base clothing that will be absolutely perfect for several characters. Specifically Helen {protagonist's mother, 1940s and 50s}, Marge {Princess's mother 1940s and 50s}, Carol {runs boardinghouse in Los Angeles, CA, USA 1965-66} and her sister Velma. Carol and Velma would have worn floral dresses like that. But other than that you've got it!

 

   That comedy club set actually reminds me of the Whiskey A Go Go in Los Angeles. Parts of my film take place there in 1967 and it's perfect for that...although I think that the stage at the Whiskey had a black-and-white pattern tile wall. But it could still work. It also looks like the stage at the UCLA student union building. There is also a scene at a black gospel church and it could work for that too.

 

   I haven't gotten a chance to look at anything up close yet. But the set titled "London loft" might even work for this film too. It might work for the house in Ocean Park where much of this takes place. The bedrooms "Boy's Bedroom", "Teen Bedroom" and "Girl's Bedroom" would prbly work. Both for children's bedrooms from the late 40s and into the 50s...or they could work for the bedrooms in the boardinghouse too. So thanks!

Btw. The only thing that I think that we need in Core and Base content is jeans/pants and bare feet and dress/skirt and bare feet. Maybe a unisex category. But then I might be able to figure that out after starting animation school. It's an online program. Four years long. And the school that holds the class is in the USA. I'm not sure if they're familiar with Moviestorm or not. Now about the dress with the apron. Is there any way to add a pattern?? Helen won't need the pattern because her husband is in the military {USA Navy}. But for Carol and Velma I will need either a floral pattern or a checked pattern. But then I will probably be able to figure that out with one of my instructors first because it's probably going to be an issue of creating clothing an sets with another program and then importing them in. Same thing with the script because right now I'm using Booksmart for that and will eventually get it uploaded to Word before inserting it into Moviestorm. Anyway everybody. Thanks again!

On the Onedrive link is an addon that I did years ago, a 1967 Pontiac GTO and there is another add-on done by another modder, called cars 1 b pontiac GTO & cars 1 c pontiac gto.

  Thanks. I think that I saw the GTO. Thinking that I'm going to have to mod for both films and might have to get a scanner as a result. Mainly because there are things that I need that I'm not sure I can find here. The biggest one is unisex hair and clothing. And btw. Moviestorm isn't the only program that I have found where that is a problem. The second biggest thing is occupation specific clothing. Nun's habit. Cassock and collar or green robe for a Catholic priest. Nurse whites {think WWII or the film "One Flew Over The Cuckoo's Nest"}. Sailor from the 1700s... Again. Moviestorm isn't the only program where occupation-specific clothing is an issue. But then that's why I'm going to be taking classes soon haha!
