TMG CHILDREN 9
http://www.moviestorm.co.uk/community/inde...p;vid_id=106514 is a new original animated puppet addon. The characters hae been redrawn and there are all new animations. The characters look much better now thanks to the adivce of Chris Ollis and Rampa who showed me how to get a smooth look for a prop. There are less animations but the quality is better than the previous version. The children play on the computer, sit and talk, stand and chat, jump, flip, walk and run. There are two version of the run and walk animations i.e. a long one and a short one. The clothes are all tintable or you can use a texture image. All textures will take an image. There are two extra faces, hair and skin textures for the girls and one extra for the boy. You can also use your own photo images for the faces and skin colors. It is a bit tricky to do. The features have to match the placement of the features for the original puppet, i.e, the eyes, mouth and nose have to be exactly in the same place. If you need help doing this, let me know. I can also make custom chidlren for you and your child images will not be shared with anyone other than yourself. The animations were created in Milkshape and there is a bit of a problem on importing animations into Moviestorm because the XYZ axis are different in the two programs so things like rotation of the hands for typing, although it is perfect in the mod shop, do not look the way they do in the original animation. I am switching to Max 3d for future animations so I should be able to improve this as well as improve all my animations. This is a free addon and you can download it at: https://www.sugarsync.com/pf/D728191_057951_714395 It is a zip file and the extra textures are included in the zip file along with the addon. -------------------- |

TMG CHILDREN 9 Its quite impressive what you've accomplished. I knew you had pose-ables. Where do I put the image files? I'm working on a short right now that needs frozen characters and your pose-ables will work great for that. Do these hold specific poses as well or is it just animation sequences. Either way, children that can move around and look natural with proper camera work is a big plus. -------------------- Sango: "If it was really a miracle everyone would have been saved."

They have a basic idle animation but it is moving. I could do an animation that is just a pose. How do you want them standing? As far as the image files go, just make a folder that says "Faces" and put it in your image directory and put the images there. That way it is easy to find them when you want to change the facial image. And thank you very much. I worked very hard on these. The animations are far from perfect and that is a problem with Milkshape. When I start using 3ds Max 2011 this week, then I can do better animations. -------------------- |

I guess the most important two are one in the act of throwing a football (the ball is in the air waiting on them right now), and the other posed to catch it. The type of catch or throw are not too important as long as it looks like one just threw it and the other is ready to catch it. You know, come to think of it a guy who just threw a frisbee would be good too. Maybe a dog that looks about to jump up to catch it. Its going to be a very short flick about a town frozen in time because they didn't like change. More a comment than a video. -------------------- Sango: "If it was really a miracle everyone would have been saved."

Oh that is an easy pose to do then. No problem. I will get working on it this weekend. So they are boys and can they just be wearing the jeans and Tshirts? -------------------- |

You are an amazing, kind woman! Well thank you Keith. I really like making these animated characters. It is a really great challenge which I always like and when you make it work it is great. -------------------- |

Just realized the dolphin I did quite awhile ago will be very easy to animate so I will probably do that this weekend too. I plan on redoing the horse too since I have learned how to make the surface look smooth and good thanks to Chris and Rampa.

Okay I can do that this weekend, no problem. Hey, this may sound like a gruesome request, (it is actually). Could you maybe do a charred human body? I've got a humorous idea from a vampire short and I need a charred human. Preferably in kind of a roast turkey pose. I can't tell you more or it could give it away. -------------------- Sango: "If it was really a miracle everyone would have been saved."

Is this just a static pose or animated? Animated takes a lot more time and is this an adult and male or female?

I can do that this weekend too. Cool! I've pretty much got the first one set up. Just need to set up the camera shots add dialog and it'll be ready when those are done. The vampire one was an idea I had today so it may be next weekend or later before its done. -------------------- Sango: "If it was really a miracle everyone would have been saved."

Hey Lucinda,
I just noticed a flaw in one of your child characters. In the Child_Girl_wbackpack on each inner thigh there is a small anomoly. No biggy. I only caught it by accident panning around through the set trying to decide how the camera will travel. Thought it was interesting though. I'm attaching a couple of screen shots: -------------------- Sango: "If it was really a miracle everyone would have been saved."

Oh yes that is an old one, a static, not animated prop. When I get around to it, I will fix it, but it is really no big deal.

Soon as the new mods are plugged in it'll be ready to render. -------------------- Sango: "If it was really a miracle everyone would have been saved."

Okay here is the link for the addon with the new poses in it: It is the same name as the other addon so you will just install this one and uninstall the other one at the same time. Everything else is exactly the same so it should not mess up any of your movies.
