I noticed when I was making a living room set with green wallpaper and a blue couch that I don't know a damn thing about interior decorating!
 And then I remembered from one of those home improvement shows my ONLY interior decorating tip: Pick a colorful piece (a rug, painting, etc) as the focul point and match all the furniture and wall color to it. Anyone know more? |

I do a lot of - Google, search, living room - and find one that I like then try to match the colors and furniture to make some of my living room sets.

If you're doing a modern house, I recommend Black and White, with one "feature wall" a colourful wallpaper. The combination black, White and a few lime green objects work well.
