Contest: Make the official video for I Fight Dragons next release!

In recent weeks, Moviestorm Towers has been echoing to the sound of Chicago-based rock’n'roll chiptune from I Fight Dragons. (To quote the band’s Web site, for those of you not in the proverbial ‘know,’ ‘chiptune’ is new music created on ‘obsolete’ video game ‘soundcards’ such as the Nintendo Gameboy.) This isn’t our usual brand of music, we’ll be honest, but it’s grown on us.

Why?

Well, we’ve teamed up with Consequence of Sound, one of America’s leading music blogs, to bring you a contest with a unique prize. Use Moviestorm to make a video for Working, from the brand new album Kaboom! by I Fight Dragons, and submit it by December 21. The winning entry will be the official video for the track! And there will be Moviestorm prizes for the top five as well.

Now, we get that you don’t want to submit a video made with the watermarked trial version of Moviestorm. You want your video to look as good as possible. And we get that you probably don’t want to buy a $200 animation tool just to enter a contest. So, for contest entrants only, we’ve made the full version of Moviestorm completely free for the duration of the contest. Go to the contest Web site and you’ll get a code that unlocks the whole of Moviestorm until the end of December.

This looks like a fun contest but I've got the full version and am currently preoccupied. Besides, this is a contest tailor made for School kids with limited funds.

I am trying to find out how I can take part in this competition it looked kind of fun. I didn't buy the 200 dollar moviestorm content thingy because I was low on funds and so only have the 75 dollar package and wanted to unlock the rest to make the video as said in the contest offering you can unlock for the duration. I downloaded the song and tried to find a way to input the key to unlock the content, but there was no way. Can someone tell me how I can unlock the content to make the video?

This is just a guess but it looks like you'll need to log out then log in as if you don't have an account.

There is a check box that lets you enter the code.

I don't know if you'll be able to use your current account or create a whole new one for this but I do know that after its all done you should be able to login under your original account and everything will work as it does now.

Its also possible Ben or Amos will see your post and be able to tick the unlock key for you.

yeah it doesnt look like present users of moviestorm are allowed to participate in this unfortunately but knowhere on the information does it say this.

I contacted support they gave me all kinds of advice on how to add music lol but offered no help on activating the full moviestorm copy

oh well it looked fun but I guess I can't participate since the package i purchased is really just for blogging lol

I've added the other packs to your account for a month; you should be able to make music videos for the contest now, as if you had started an account with the promo code.

I think your support message didnt have your username, and Alex was not able to do that without it.

I would also like to join the contest but I don't know where I should enter that code to take advantage of the full version of Moviestorm. If I start MS there is only asked to enter username and password but I don't find any check box that lets you enter the code. In addition, I also have the same question as 162, whether it is permitted to use another program/software than MS for editing and finishing of the product (music video) or is there such thing as complete freedom for the completion? I mean that only the images should be filmed in Moviestorm? I hope my questions are clearely because my english isn't perfect
