BLACKLIST file?

Hi Guys,

I was poking around the files in an effort to better understand the file structures and how I can mod and retexture and came upon a file called BLACKLIST...

It's a text file with a list of paths to stuff that include things like Data/Puppets/Female01/nude.template
But also things like Data/Puppets/Male01/Zombie Head.bodypart

So I'm curious... what is the point behind this file? Will it break functionality if I play with it? What can I do and can't I do with it, etc...

I have never heard of a "Blacklist File" in the program of Moviestorm. Where did you find this?

On my OS X install it's in /Applications/Moviestorm.app/Contents/Resources which is basically the top folder of the MS install (in the same folder that you find the AddOn and Data folders...

It's not in my folder. Have you upgraded to 1.5?

I don't have it.

I think its specific to Mac systems. A very brief web search reveals info on how MACs block IP addresses. I didn't get into it but a simple search for OSX BLACKLIST may answer your questions.

I'm on 1.5 and have the modders workshop addon (which actually seems to be working on my mac! At least it opens stuff, which is as far as I've gotten... it's a text file and when you open it this is what it says...

Weird I guess?
It's not a big deal, but if for some reason those animations/props/etc are being blocked or something I'd want uncensored access to the software that I paid for... although I doubt that's what this file is for.

It shouldnt realy have gone into the patch, sorry.
It's purpose is for generating a Schools version (for under 13's) that doesnt have any potentially objectional content. It doesnt do anything at all without the script I would run to generate the Schools version.
