Is there a way of permanently getting rid of the flashing exclamation mark in the top right hand corner at all?
(I'm half expecting a speech bubble to emerge from it; "It looks like you're trying to make a movie, do you need some help?"  )

I kind of like it. It takes a little getting used to, every time I see a notification I think I made an error (which hasn't been the case yet) but in the event there is an error somewhere it'll be nice to have a look at.

On the settings menu, there is an Advisor tab. If there are messages you are not interested in seeing again, you can uncheck them there.
