I'm looking for a good cartoon shader with variable edge line widths. Is there something like that out there? The filters included in Mstorm aren't really doing the trick. Good cartooner shaders could be very useful.

There's this:
www.newbluefx.com/cartoonr/ Not great but worth a try. I've been looking for the same thing and nothing good came up. Moviestorm should improve their shader, that's the only way they can make MS movies look cool and not dated. Also After Effects has something like that built in as well - but it seem to give similar results to Cartoonr. I guess there's only so much you can do with a rendered 2D image. |
