I know this has been covered, but the answers I've found didn't satisfy my curiosity.
I seem to remember reading a post that stated only PC versions of MS rendered depth of field. Is this correct? I run an intell mac 10.7.3 - 2.3gh core i7. Is there something I'm missing? Thanks, Steve A -------------------- There is no try, only do or do not.

It is not a PC/Mac thing - it is more dependent on your graphics card.
If you are using a Nvidia card, I would expect it to work correctly; with ATI cards it is generally good. And if your computer uses the Intel processor graphics from your i7, then depth of field will probably not work. I would suggest trying it out - there is a tick option on the graphics tab of the settings panel. -------------------- Ben Sanders
