I love the fact that the male puppets have animation for driving... Though will there ever be one for the female??? And one big wish!! Will anyone ever be able to make where they can open the car doors and actual sit in the car ... I appreciate all the props and animations .. I maneuver through the challenges... But this would be a nice feature.. Thanks

I can make them sorry I have been kind of dragging my feet on the female set lol. They are a bit clunky so you have to be careful with camera shots but I can make a female set I will sit down this week and do that. Sorry my animation set was male only haha. The puppet I made it for was a male. I had noticed that their is a weighting problem with clothing so you have to be careful what they wear. There is one male shirt that when you start using those animations his arm litterally folds in half hehe. So this is why I was dragging my feet. I will make them though. Hopefully moviestorm staff take a look at how their clothes are weighted and can fix that a bit
as for the car sitting. I was making or attempting to make a portable driving cube that would snap onto the seats of other cars, but I just could not get it to work . So I put the driving gestures in the gesture menu and gave up on this 'driving cube' idea. |

Thanks again for creating these animations.. haha your welcome yes this was made for a movie I am trying to complete. However I think I know why they dont sit in cars or drive them now with the problems I encountered hehe. However if your willing to play with animated roads and wheels and get inventive with the camera you can do something that is fairly convincing edit: you found squirelly's cars right? she has a lot she made which is why I was making bits and pieces to sort of complete the set up but a truck came out at the same time since I was trying to see if I could make a car they could get into and sit in.. alas something wierd with the engine would not let him actually sit in the right place.. ^^ anyhow here is one link http://www.moviestorm.co.uk/forums/index.php?showtopic=12472 she has others actually some without wheels more open for filming hence the moving wheels and road. So there is a variety to choose from |

Thanks to both of you! your welcome I will work on the animations in a couple of days. I worked all weekend and wanted to finish some of the stuff i was working on in moviestorm so I need a holiday lol when I get my energy back (sleep would do wonders!) I will start on these. Hopefully it wont be long as I have learned all the pitfalls already so wont be trying things I know are not really possible ^^ |

hi i am sorry to report that the moviestorm female01 animations are not possible using milkshape. You will have to approach someone who owns other software I dont own 3dsmax and that is from what I am seeing probably the only one that can make these anims unless its possible in fragmotion but I can't use fragmotion the ui is just to horribly bad to see what I am doing..
good luck. maybe you can find someone to help with this. I created the entire set and even improved the male set only to find that I could not get them to function in moviestorm using the skeletons supplied . moviestorm just sits there as it seems unable to recognize them as compatible. in the mod workshop. |

hi i am sorry to report that the moviestorm female01 animations are not possible using milkshape. This is not the case. I have done female animations myself using Milkshape. You must have some other problem. -------------------- "I have had the same problem with getting the wheels to rotate properly with animated cars. I can maneuver what I have to make the female drive.. But this would be a great feature in the future.. I appreciate urbanlam's effort... I wouldn't have a clue on making mods... But it's intriguing.. -------------------- TPC

You must have some other problem. okay well obviously i am not elite enough to be able to create these animations for moviestorm software. If someone would be so kind as to help this person. I myself have moved to a more modern platform. I enjoyed the software however it needs fixing. NOthing is wrong with my system. Whatever the cause of the issue (not human error I am sorry) I am unwilling to spend the time to figure out a way to make it work. thanks for the input I guess |

I am unwilling to spend the time to figure out a way to make it work. That was really my point. We know you don't enjoy using Moviestorm and you have mentioned several times that you have moved on. But there is no need to give other users the impression that MS and Milkshape etc. can't perform certain tasks that they demonstrably can, just because you personally have time issues. I wish you well with your alternative workflow. -------------------- "I have had the same problem with getting the wheels to rotate properly with animated cars. Thanks again for creating these animations.. Strange since your last post says you gave up on MS. -------------------- "I have had the same problem with getting the wheels to rotate properly with animated cars.
