MS Team,

Sigh. Been away for a while, and just updated to MS 1.5.2 tonight. Trying to adjust the costumes in the Super Hero pack from Moddingstorm, using a JPG image, something I used to be able to do before, but I'm now getting an error message that the image is "access denied". Has anything changed in MS 1.5.2 re: image formats and would this affect changing the image for the Super Hero costumes?

In fact, I just tried to adjust one of the basic MS costumes - the white shirt and jeans, and I get a similar message. It's like Moviestorm is not reading the image file at the location I'm trying to access but trying to access a folder with images in the Moviestorm directory. (See PDF of the screen shot in file attached.) Can anyone help?

Let me take this opportunity to say though that the sword pack looks really fantastic. Love the back kick.

The Supehero pack is not a Moviestorm release and I suspect Chris may have taken steps to prevent modding it for proprietary reasons.

I'm not sure about the Moviestorm basic costume.

thanks, Nahton...but I'm not even modding. I'm just using the right click on the shirt which gives you the option to change the colour, change the image or clear the image. It's not working. It used to work before on both the Superhero pack and with a few of the MS default costumes. I've used it to customize some of the basic costumes.

Looks like a folder permissions error.
Try an experiment. Place the image on your desktop and try and use it from there. Does it work?

I haven't made any changes, and certainly wouldn't stop people adding their own new hero designs.

Does look like it a file access issue of the main program (windows administrator rights perhaps?) I tried loading in some jpg textures to the new Athlete pack characters earlier today and that was working fine, so I would guess it was a local issue - although I might not have updated to the latest release of course! biggrin.gif

Do you keep trying it with the same image? Does it work with any other images.
It might be the case that you need to change the format of the image, eg resize it to something lower res.

When it tries to import an image it copies it into the temporary folder for the movie you are working on (in Users/[your name]/Moviestorm/.cache/Current Movie/Images). If your disc is full, or the folder is messed up in some way, then it might fail.
You could try deleting the .cache folder - nothing in there is needed permanently (although the current movie represents the auto save for Resume, so make sure your movie is properly saved first).

Thanks a lot, guys. [So glad to see the level of support in the Moviestorm community is still strong and swift!]

Don't know what the problem was, but it's gone and I can adjust both the Superhero costume and others, just as normal.

Thanks so much! Hoping this short window of time allows me to make a good one.
