Hi all

just a quick question. I am trying to make a short moviewhere a story teller sits in front of a green screen as I want to put a VIDEO not a STILL pic as the background.

I have had great help from KV and he tells me to have a long green screen background and then green tile the floor. This is fine but i can't find it. the tiles that is...

Aahhhh MAybe this is it.......I selected the white plain tile and changed the colour to match the background screen...... Is that it ?

cheers

That should do it, but be careful of shadows... there are also a couple of greenscreen mods at www.machinimods.com that you may find helpful.

You can also put movies on the screen primitives in the Director's View, but of course that doesn't include the floor.

This is the green screen and floor that you're looking for.

If you're not a Moviestorm subscriber, use it quickly. It's a 3rd party addon and, being such, won't be usable for non-subscribers after Jan 31st.

This one is the best option IMO, since it's not affected by lighting, so it stays an even, bright green (great for keying) and objects don't cast shadows on it.

How to paint the floor or walls with a greenscreen texture:
1: Draw some walls
2: Click the paint walls button
3: In the text search, search for greenscreen
4: Paint the walls
5: Click the paint floors button
6: Change the dropdown from Floor to All
7: In the text search, search for greenscreen
8: Paint the floor
