How the heck has nobody heard of this before! They're selling something for $150 that can replace a video editor AND After Effects AND Particle Illusion?!? No kidding, eighth the price. There's GOT to be a catch.

Releasing After Dark out to Moddingstorm actually sounds like a decent idea, but I'm personally of the opinion that they should scrap the existing sex animations and include the nude puppets in the core package, and then put out a separate pack with better animations, but that's just me.

Speaking of, the morph slider for the female puppet is pretty much useless, because clothed puppets all have fixed chest sizes. It'd be a lot more useful if the morph slider changed the relative direction of gravity, instead.

(If only there weren't that issue between Moviestorm and Blender, or I'd be off learning to animate in Blender right now.)

I didn't know you could run Moviestorm in non-admin mode.

I am also on a 64-bit system, and the exact same thing happens to me. Every time I use Moviestorm enough, it slows to a crawl, always without fail. It's not actually that much of a problem since just closing MS and reopening it resets what I like to call the Crap Out Timer, but it is a bit annoying when I can run the Starcraft 2 Galaxy Editor for DAYS on end.

Before we get access to motion curves, we really need to have keyframe editing for object motion. It seems like that ought to be relatively easy to implement, since there's already a system in place for camera movement (which in itself is rather limiting, but eminently functional) that it could be based on.

The problem with After Dark isn't that it's tasteless, it's that it's horribly limited. The nude puppets are extremely useful, but the animations are bland, stiff(no pun intended), and barely qualify for the name "animation" anyway since the puppets look more like they're posing for porn photos than actually making love.

This is why we really do need an After Dark 02 with a larger spectrum of much-more-realistic animations that can actually be used for the purpose of evoking emotion. The sex animations in 01 are good for humor, but that's about it.

After Dark 01 was poorly executed but the idea is not a bad one and merits further development, especially because the first attempt was lackluster.
