"Douglas Adams, creator and author of cult sci-fi radio-series and novel The Hitchhiker’s Guide to the Galaxy, made a prophetic audio recording on the future of the book in 1993 which is now the subject of an animation design competition."

"move along, nothing to see here; these are not the droids you are looking for..."

It definitely needs to be done better than that crappy movie.

If it could capture the essence of the radio show or the TV show the BBC did that, I believe, Adams had a hand in, it would be beautiful.

Alas, Adams' son just did not quite succeed I felt.

The books were brilliant. The movie needs to be as brilliant.smile.gif

Sango: "If it was really a miracle everyone would have been saved."

Vargas: "But if everyone was saved how would anyone know it was a miracle."

Sango and Vargas arguing over the implications of one person surviving an unexpectedly active tidal season.

Great! Wish I had the time to do this but I Just don't. A full length feature film takes more than a year to make and I am still working on Vautrin.

Reminds me that one of the first machinima movies I made was a Sims2 parody of the Restaurant at the End of the Universe scene, which with great originality I called; The Restaurant at the Other End of the Universe wink.gif

If you're interested it can be seen here;

Really enjoyed the books and play. TV program was camp but fun and hated the movie. Contest sounds interesting, wish I had the time and better still, some inspiration blink.gif
