A New Year's resolution for forum owners

01 January 2012 - 07:48 AM

Yesterday there was a "hello" post which was patently carpet cleaning spam.

The post was copied from a Paranormal Research Society post made about 4 weeks ago with this picture :

There was a reply made in that thread by someone using this picture : containing spam links to 'florist London'

On Dec 30th a dozen identical spams were made at places such as Wakeboard Singapore (Cashing in your pension), ProVideo Coalition (pension loan), NFS Cars, Carforums (mobile camp hire), fminformation net (pensions), Airsoft core (mlining link) and of course here at Moviestorm.

Wouldn't it be wise to delete any thread in which the original post contains a spam link?

I was the lucky girl he picked to make his teaser :

You are all gonna love this pack!

New installation problem

07 December 2011 - 09:33 AM

I've had a computer fail, so had to reinstall Moviestorm.

However, the updates are failing to install properly.

I've tried disabling the antivirus (much as I hate that) but to no avail, and the log file doesn't contain the cloud URLs so that workaround is impossible.

I'm attaching a log and a screenshot

Poulet Noir's umbrellas

I'm sure he'll tell you more about it soon, but a pack will be released at some time in the future featuring handheld umbrellas.

Meanwhile, you can see them in action in my fictional documentary For All The Tea in China

Having seen how Chris Ollis uses parts in the rotobot, I was wondering how parts relate to the template.

Can one have several parts, and if so, how do they fit together?

Why does a sketchup import have no parts? If parts aren't mandatory, they must serve some purpose.

Has anybody cracked this?
