Another beautiful film. I love the flair around the images, so other-world.

Thanks MrJoyce, I feel like I'm learning a lot about combining material from different media. The Sims camera records in 4:3, so it's not straightforward to layer with moviestorm.

I use programs that are designed (as Moviestorm is) to be free of any copyright issues. Does Sims2 allow a filmmaker to "own" their work? Just a question for future use.

No, and it's one of the big problems wth Sims2.
EA have refused to negotiate with some filmmakers in the past about boradcasting movies (eg on tv), others have faired better, but EA seem to want to keep control.

Interesting movie, kkffoo. Btw, your choice of music for movies are unbelievable. I wish I can take a look at your mp3 collection while you don't watch... smile.gif
No, mrjoyce, owners of movies made in Sims2 are company that own Sims2. This is old issue with Machinima based on game engines. And this is main reason why iClone or Moviestorm, specially Moviestorm, are godsends.

Thanks Tom.
All my music lately has come from Jamendo, if you click on the banner under my post you should be directed to my profile there, and a linkable list of my favourite albums, nearly everything I have chosen is creative commons sharealike licensed.

Kkffoo and Tom - Thank you for the information on Sims2. It is too bad, but all the better for Moviestorm.

Interesting movie.

I don't know if it was my screen, but some of the scenes were very dark. I could not really see what was there.

I really liked the porch image with the light.

Yes, it seemed to darken up on uploading to youtube. I'm not able to upload to our community site here yet, hopefully the movie will be clearer in hires.
I love that light, that is in one of the sims2 scenes, I hope we get some mods like that for 'Storm.

I would be great to be able to set up this kind of lighting in MS (crosses fingers smile.gif )

Still not able to upload to community site, but I have opened an account at VEOH. Thanks to Lucinda & Fulkster for the tip.
This is higher res version, but may still be dark for some.

It's really cool how you managed to mix everything like that... I enjoy all your movies! (Thanks)
(edit... I've had a bit of a problem with my veoh uploads being quite dark, while the same file uploaded to yahoo came out okay. When I download the "dark" file from veoh, it plays fine.)
The next big thing: MOVIESTORM!

See my most recent movie: "Athena Project: Chapter 2 (Down the Rabbit-hole)"

Sweet. And a big thumbs up for using Creative Commons music. There's a lot of rich pickings out there that's just waiting to be used in your movies.
