I used to do this on another site. I decided to start this here. I watch all the Moviestorm movies here and also on You Tube, but I am concentrating on watching them here because the resolution on our own site is so much better. So I will continually add to this list movies that I have watched that are not in the top 5 or featured movies to actually get you to watch them.

This list is to benefit other filmmakers here, not myself.

So My number one pick is;

http://www.moviestor...eServlet?id=908

Filmmaker - TREE

childrens' English alphabet song.
Mainly Using my alphabet soup 3DTree addon and The new MS foliage addon.

LOL Warning:
contains content suitable for very young children. ;-)

This is one of the most imaginative movies I have seen with this software. He not only made a children's video but he made mods of the Alphabet. The music is great as is the camera work. This movie has a professional quality and I believe he could sell this movie. There is always a need and market for videos for children. Not only that his Alphabet mod is very useful for creating logos and advertising videos. If you have not seen this movie, please watch it. You are in for a real treat and if you have kids, download it for them.

What a fantastic idea Lucinda. I'm looking forward to seeing your next few selections!

Well thank you for responding so well to this idea. I really like to call attention to other filmmakers whenever I can and I hope to encourage people to watch all the movies here too.

I was hoping that Tree's movie would be featured here on Moviestorm. It certainly is unusual and of the quality that does promote Moviestorm and shows what you can do with it for a commercial venture.

Good idea, lucindamc, ta. I'm interested to see the best movies that can be made in MS so I'll be watching your recommendations.

Here are two more: The first one is by davidwww and is called Flying. He makes a Moviestorm puppet fly. How he did it, I do not know but it looks great.

http://www.moviestor...eServlet?id=900

The next movie is by JTKellerman and is titled Me and Sarah

This is to promote books (I believe it is for books) by the authors Saundra Mitchel - "Shadowed Summer" and Sandra Cross - "Dull Boy". This is a very clever idea.

So lets watch movies and leave comments for people. Everyone really thrives with a bit of attention.

Lucinda, this is an excellent idea. I used to do a column on machinima.com years ago pointing people at obscure machinima they probably hadn't seen, and it always got a good response.

Thank you.

Anyone else - feel free to chime in with suggestions for more worthy movies we haven't seen.

I am always searching for hidden treasures as I call them. Here is another one from Poulet Noir

http://www.moviestor...eServlet?id=975

This is a horror movie and has a Manchurian Candidate kind of feel.

When I click that link it brings me to your "Ladies of Linden". Doesn't seem much like a horror movie.

I think this might be the one:

If it's not, I'd highly recommend it. Very well done.

Darn it, sorry about that. I was sure I copied the right link. Anyway I have fixed the link in the message above.

I'd be really interested in any Moviestorm movies that show up in unusual sites or unusual places as well. If they have bothered to make a movie, we can all stand around (virtually) and clap!

For instance, I have no idea who made this commercial for us? http://www.animepile...ommercial.html

Johnnie? Matt?

And I have no idea what they are saying here, but they made a movie and I think it is on YouTube http://publishedmind...uksi-film.html

Yes I put links in your other post from a lot of them I found on You Tube. I used to stream all the Moviestorm movies 24/7 on that You tube streaming video channel I had there. Well I did it for awhile but I have to reinstall my network on my laptop so I can do that again. My laptop drive crashed and that is my extra computer I use for doing things like that so I don't tie up my main computer. I also am on a lot of other video sites, Metacafe, VEOH, DailyMotion (Metacafe and Daily Motion are really good -- very nice people there) and then I find my own movies all over the place as people have downloaded them and put them on other sites. Anyway there aren't a lot of Moviestorm movies on Daily Motion or Metacafe and I really recommend those sites. Also there are some people on My Space who use Moviestorm who have never come on here. When I get into my MySpace page today I will send you the links. A lot of people don't realize that we are interested in movies that use any asset of Moviestorm - that they don't have to be entirely made from Moviestorm. A lot of people combine a lot of different programs.

Fulkster, the problem with VEOH and it has so few problems. An excellent site to have your movies viewed in good hi resolution. If you have any movies that require an over 18 tag, then any direction to your VEOH site will redirect a person to the "are you over 18" message. When you click on that message, then it does not go to your own page, it goes to a list of other VEOH movies. I found this out by re-directing lucindamcnary.com to my VEOH channel. I have two movies I had to rate over 18 and I don't want to remove them so I no longer have my lucindamcnary.com directed to VEOH but to my Moviestormer page. I wondered why I was getting so few hits on VEOH. I have another page on Motionbox. I pay for the premium membership there and I have unlimited storage space and can upload a file of any size. I am slowly putting all my movies in hi res on that page and I will soon redirect my website to go to that page as my main movie page.

I have my movies on several sites and will continue to do that but any advertising I do will direct people to lucindamcnary.com. The other nice thing about Motionbox is that you can have video sharing and you can mix videos. So I actually could make a clip of several movies together, put that as a preview everywhere else and get people to come to that page. Like have all my music videos, then stories, then promos like the ones I do for Long Beach.

Saves the trouble of having to set up a video viewing page on my own website (a whole lot of work and very expensive).

Hi Lucinda,
I was just answering DavidB's question on who made the commercial... the rest was just a little jesting- I hoped that was understood.

I wasn't joking Fulkster. I was writing something that I thought was informative and something I just discovered about VEOH and it kind of makes VEOH, even though it is a great site, useless for me to use as a movie homepage. And since I have a fairly large advertising budget, I was wasting money getting people to go to VEOH and not even find my page. I am glad I found that out.

I don't see a sticky for this anymore. It would help getting these movies watched. I appreciate it since it benefits the community as a whole.
