I have a preliminary script that could benefit from this pack. smile.gif

SquirrelyGirl, you have been releasing so many mods lately, it's made me think of something that might be a useful MS feature.

Since we need to have a username associated with modder's workshop, I am wondering if MovieStorm embeds the publisher's name into the .addon file... if so, then it would be useful when making a movie to be able to check that somehow in order to be able to properly credit the publisher's efforts if their work is used in a movie.

Anyone from MS reading this? Maybe an automatically generated list of the unique mod publisher's names that could be pasted into the credits?

No they don't do that and probably would not be possible, however, all my mods are prefaced with TMG which is my company Two Moon Graphics and I suggest that other modders do the same kind of thing.

###-protocol 7 / Moviestorm language censor software activated-###

<Blimey> Squirrely! How the <golly gosh> did I miss this first time round? It's <really very> amazing! Particularly as there's a right-hand drive car interior included as well as a <spiffing> police car chassis! I'll be grabbing this as soon as humanly possible.

Nice. This will be great to add on to my transportation stuff smile.gif I just wish someone would make a way for character to get in and out of cars, or at least make the tires rotate.

I love it, squirrels!

I just used it in my entry to the 48 Hour Film Project, was so great to have it.

I'm currently working on an update for the Cars 4 Filming set. You will still be able to get this set, but I'm going to make different packs, starting with a Modern Cars pack and Poulet has kindly made some scrolling backdrops to make it easier to film in the cars. Will update with more asap. smile.gif

Here's a screen shot of the scrolling backgrounds Poulet worked on:

The hedge background accepts images and is resizable, so you can add your own images. I'll be adding some extra images next to the Data folder in the addon so you can navigate to there and add any of the images. The square background has the four variations you see. Once you place any of the backgrounds you can right-click them and you are given a choice of speeds - speed 1 standing still and speed 8 is warp speed captain. smile.gif And, yes, if you add your own image you still have the speed choices, in case anyone was wondering.

Big huge thanks you's to Poulet for doing this!

On to the cars...

The first set is called Modern Cars and comes with a convertable, jeep, truck, and van:

As you can see they are all tintable. They are also resizable and have a few variations. The first models that come up are full versions - tires, windows, and all that stuff - in case you want to film the actors driving down the road at a distance. There are also models for filming closer scenes - no front windshield for front camera shots and ones with no rear windshield for rear shots. The filming models don't have tires because these are not low poly models that way it should be easier on slower computers.

I should have a demo video out sometime in the afternoon, that's about 12 hours or so from now. smile.gif

Damn, those look good!

I'll have to keep an eye on this one for future projects.
Sango: "If it was really a miracle everyone would have been saved."

Vargas: "But if everyone was saved how would anyone know it was a miracle."

Sango and Vargas arguing over the implications of one person surviving an unexpectedly active tidal season.
