I don't know where they go but it's not AOL support. Does anyone even use AOL any more?  :)

In Topic: SketchupReader.dll

Well, had a SSD card installed. Windows 10, and had to reinstall many of my programs. Modder Workshop, importing Sketchup I could do, use to before the SSD. I Like the SSD, computer boots up fast. And I did a clean install of MS. Eliminated the constant crashing I used to get. Nice. Anyhow, I get the "Can't Locate or Initialise SketchupReader.dll " LOL.

And I've tried everything suggested here in this thread, including this thread: http://www.moviestor...=sketchupreader

All is a NO GO, nothing, nada, kaput. Even googled, and still to no avail.

I've had Win 10 for quite a while, and it used to work, but not since the SSD install. (1 1/2 weeks ago)

So now I throw up my "white flag"  <_< Been defeated.

Hi Marilyn,

Do you have a backup of your old installation directories? If so you could try copying and pasting them into a different folder and try running that installation of MS for modding purposes. At one point Ben posted a thread about having 2 installations with the goal being to have a fast loading version for modding purposes.

This link is for one such reference he made for doing this after a version upgrade but I thought there was a different thread more relating to the faster load time with user comments. I can't seem to find that thread at the moment.

In Topic: Animations ?different? Female puppets

Thanks for sharing this mloakley.

I wonder if there are any costuming/modding guru's left that might be able to explain this? My theory is that it has to do with the weighting of the costumes on the puppet and the weighting relationships between puppets and their costumes.

I had only previously  noticed the distortion on puppets with unclothed arms but the Metro costumes were unique in nature and didn't fit the usual body proportion model of prior costumes with a noticeable difference being tight fitting clothes vs more loose or baggy clothing.

Hi mloakley,

I can provide a partial answer. The distortion is caused by the forearm twist bones being out of alignment. Truthfully, they are the bane of animation modding. If you take a look at your Fragmo modding file..(you may see the twist bones out of alignment).

I believe the metro style is one of the last addons they produced. I'm guessing the model is skinned to the main bones and somehow ignores the twist bones. This is something I was completely unaware of prior to this. If all puppets were produced in this fashion it would have made modding so much easier.

(Edited to finish my previously unfinished thought in parenthesis above.)
