Hey everyone - I'm making what seems like my annual attempt at getting into the modder's workshop and I have my first (of many, no doubt) question: I made a prop in sketchup and textured it there. But when I import it to the MW and tick "Tinable," the texture turns all black. Once inside Moviestorm I can change the color and get the desired effect, but it makes for an ugly looking prop when browsing thumbnails.

How can I fix this and get the default color to be white?

Did you try changing the diffuse color to white?

SG is right, when you click tintable click the diffuse button and set it to white, by default it is black, your model will look right then and still accept tinting correctly.

That's why most TMG food items are black until I tint them white.

Lucinda if you're reading this, could you do an update to your addons that have this problem?

All in all its due in part to the way the default lighting is set. Thus when you make props tintable they may defualt to either grey or black.

I have tried that Corthew and it doesn't seem to work right. It won't allow you to change the color or something goes wrong which is why I leave them black. To remove the black when you are on the set page, you just click on the model and click on white and it shows the original texture.
